And GC will be convenient for the Red Line when it opens (2020 ish), quick and easy commute into town.

We live even further out near Chiang Rak, I drive in to town (Chatuchak area) every morning. Luckily my job allows me to skew my work day so I leave home at 5.45, in the office by 6.30, leave 3.30-3.45 home 4.30-4.45.

    Still horrible... 18 days a year ... 6 months over 10 years

  2. I got some deep discounts following this protocol

    - push the door as much as you can when entering

    - pee on the left side of reception desk

    - spit on the right side of reception desk

    - start yelling "<deleted> is the housekeeper"

    - proceed with million dollar smile and ask for appropriate discount

It was so easy to buy a drone in Hua Hin at the big new mall.  I never shopped in BKK for one

but I imagine there are lots of places to buy them there as well. I wonder how soon one will go into

a jets engine and bring it down.  My guess is in less than one year.

The SH*T will hit the fan after that happens.

    Geezer

It isn't that easy... the software won't let you go near airports and restricts altitude depending on how close to the airport you are

They probably talk about "I don't want to be seen, so let's call it restricted" area

Yes. A feeling that this is the most important country in the world. The knowledge that where we are living is the center of the universe. A people bursting with pride, at knowing that they are at the apex of culture, finance, power, and intellectual prowess. A country with the real, true religion, and with smart and benevolent leaders, who are spending every minute, of every day trying to make life better for the common man. A vastly superior moral and ethical nature, that allows the Thai people to rise above the rest of the world, and live in absolute, and complete harmony with each other. And a grand vision for the future of this illustrious nation.

    Amen

And, buying condos has worked out ok for me. In 7 years I have bought and sold 16 condos, 2 in Rayong and 14 in Pattaya.  Average profit is around 600,000 Baht after all expenses.  Could I have done much better if I had invested in financials?  Probably.  But, not my thing.

So you make 1.3 million a year with your condo flipping in Thailand?
