I see some people post laughing smileys under my post suggesting nattokinase.
What gives? Was it actually funny, or do you have a problem with it?
If so, you may be right, but for the love of god, please man up, grow a pair and explain why.
In another post in a different thread, I posted something about not being allowed to use the yellow book as proof of address at the land transport department in Pattaya. One poster with I think it was over 100K posts (sic) offered his comment that my appearance was not up to standard. WTF? Was that useful or funny? What does he know about my appearance? He spends all day everyday making BS comments. Oh man!
So please, comment, but have something to say, don't be a keyboard warrior loser!
Sir, this is the Internet.

I think some (many?) women are control freaks so they need to get their husband under their control at all times. Going out too late or leave her alone is too much freedom.
I'm lucky. Mrs SR sends me into Pattaya when she wants to clean the house, because I 'make the place untidy.' No questions asked.

Good space, and time apart, is the reason Mrs SR and I have just made 25 yrs together.

Woman has a bit of fun.
Breaks a rule.
Breaks the internet.
People must have such empty lives.

Amazing how the article can be so much written about a non-event.

My definition of "Zionist" is someone who wants to make all of the area that used to be called "Palestine" into an exclusively Jewish state, and to do so would require the expelling (or at least denying citizenship) of all Arabs who claim to be Palestinians.
My definition of "Hamas" is someone who wants to make all of the area that used to be called "Palestine" into an exclusively Arab Muslim state, and to do so would require the expelling (or at least denying citizenship) of all Jews who claim to be Israelis.
In other words, I believe neither Zionists nor Hamas want a two-state solution. They both want it all for themselves.
Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail, and eventually, a two-state solution will be agreed upon, but right now, that looks very unlikely. If Hamas laid down their weapons there would be peace.
If Israelis laid down their weapons there would be real genocide.

Self-evidently untrue, by a huge margin.
Musk is a genius with an almost supernatural ability to absorb and synthesise information, and understand the future implications.
He is certainly neurodivergent ('on the spectrum') and his posts can appear blunt, offbeat, unfiltered, or just plain weird (example.. his contribution to the football team cave boys situation). But this does not detract from his genius or his importance to society right now.

BANGKOK, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Thailand has approved Western Digital's (WDC.O), 23.5 billion baht ($693 million) project to expand hard disk production in the country, Thailand's Board of Investment (BOI) said on Monday, as cloud technology and data centre demand grows.
The investment would boost the Thai economy by adding exports worth 200 billion baht per year and creating an extra 10,000 jobs, the BOI said.- 1

They are good tenants, you owe them some loyalty
if you’re worried about the fire risk, ask the insurance company to inspect and recommend any action points
100% this. Fix the issues but keep the tenants. They sound loyal - you could end up with a lot worse.

I think you mean according to Newton. Falling 17 floors, assuming 5m per floor, would give t = 3s
If you want to invoke Einstein, she didn't actually move 😀
An object falling in a vacuum is 'apparently' weightless (rather than actually weightless) since there is no force applied opposing the fall.

Regardless of numbers, the poll can't be relied on to be representative of the population, if it's only viewers of a specific YouTube channel.

This sounds bogus. How can safety standards permit a car that requires a live battery connection just to open the door? No manual override? 🤔

I WAS THERE on Saturday 27th in Trafalgar Square. It was a good day. People from many different walks of life, religions and races were there.
It is not about far-right, it is not about racism. It is about understanding that British values, British culture, British way of life is under attack, and needs defending, protecting and celebrating.
British people are fair-minded and kind-hearted, and have for decades welcomed to our shores those who want to join us, contribute, and be part of what puts the Great in Great Britain.
Unfortunately, there is a torrent of arrivals that don't think that way, and over time it's changing the country we love - for the worse.
As a father and grandfather, it's not just a wish but an obligation to the next generation to unapologetically preserve and pass onwards the country that I grew up in.

Sim card routers are gaining in popularity, even in the UK . A friend in the UK has an Archer 600 tp-link , same as Sportrider . My question is , am I right in assuming you must have a decent clear passage to a transmission mast or would a good indicator be a good signal strength on your phone . Buying the Archer 600 is not cheap and if it does not perform well it would be a waste of money .
BTW I have often heard that True sim cards perform well .
Sorry I missed this question earlier.
If you have decent coverage on your mobile phone then the wifi router will be fine.
(Noting some operators have better coverage than others for the same location.)

If you love your dog, don't bring him here.
Between the snakes in the garden, other rabies infected soi dogs and many other obvious administrative hassles... plainly a taxi or a Bolt will usually never accept a dog.
A valid viewpoint, but overly negative for us.
Mutley loves it here in Thailand with the family.
A bit of paperwork is not too much hassle for a family member.

I've flown one-way DXB-BKK with Emirates and they asked for a return ticket.
They didn't ask at check-in, but when sitting at the gate they called me up to the counter.
I was prepared and showed them a printout of my disposable ticket.

OP don't let the negativity derail your plans. If you have the funds, and prepared to spend a bit of time planning where you'll stay, there is no need to spend months separated from your four-legged family member.
The processes are straightforward (ignore the 'brown envelope' remarks that's nonsense)... let your agent handle it.
One other point, the local stray dogs can be a bit territorial, so we usually carry a stick when we take Mutley for a walk! Never had to actually use it though.

Agreed. We have stayed at Cocco Resort in Pattaya, they loved our dog.

We have brought pets to Thailand from UK twice. One a cat, one a dog (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel).
Strong recommendation is use an agent to handle everything. It saves a lot of uncertainty and stress.
Mutley's breed is naturally long haired. We have his hair cut every 6 weeks, and give him nice showers regularly. He has had no problem at all adapting to Thailand.

Heavy duty speaker stands in Thailand? Where to buy them or get them custom made?

It might sound crazy but check out Ikea wooden plant pot stands. I've used them for years. They are the perfect height, can drill through easily, and for heft you can put a big plant or whatever on the lower shelf.
The model I use is now not sold, but there may still be decent options for the budget conscious.
Btw I drive Bluesound Duo 2.1's with Parasound 200 Integrated. Absolutely perfect sound for the price point.
