I've just started watching season 1 of Mystery Road: Origin. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16343844/ Set in the Australian outback, it follows Jay Swan, a young officer who arrives at his new station in the town where his estranged father lives, as does the woman who will change his life forever, Mary. Worth a look IMHO. I got it from TGx. It's a prequel to Mystery Road (2 seasons). which is also good and worth watching first IMHO. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7298596/

The scheme could create some employment opportunities for locals. I would have thought that loads of new staff will have to be hired to deal with the masses of prospective foreign buyers, who, no doubt will be "bursting down the doors" of their local land offices, to take advantage of this fabulous offer and secure their ONE RAI of land.

I'm half way through season 2 and am enjoying it so far. Worth a look IMHO.
