    What a load of crap.

The agreement was made and announced at a time that markets worldwide were closed already.

    You sure about that?

    I went here

    https://factba.se/topic/calendar

    to see Trump's schedule.

It looks like the meeting happened with plenty of time to spare for the markets still being open at its conclusion.

Then I went to see how the S&P 500 performed on that day. There was a spike upwards at about 15:30.

But doubtless you have evidence that will show me where I went wrong with my data. I look forward to seeing it. I mean, it's clearly very likely that the world media got it universally wrong and you got it right.

At 15.30 New york time all major world markets are closed already, even the aftermarket hours have been passed already, but I'm sure you can proof me wrong.

I went with option 4. It was a valuable though painful lesson for the teacher, who never abused a child in his class ever again

    John Rambo is that you?

So you think abuse of people is ok for you, and you want us all to believe you got away with it.

The Android box is connectable by Bluetooth but the Truevision's box has no graphic interface and no obvious Bluetooth option though it is connectable by an optical audio cable.

While we're on the topic can you suggest an Android app which can receive Thai TV for the Android box?

    Loox TV, available from Playstore

I have an Android box and also have a True Visions box connected to the TV by HDMI so it would be easier if the soundbar was paired directly to the TV.

Since you probably use either the Android or True visions box when watching TV, it would make no difference where the soundbar was paired with. In fact i think the result would be better when pair with the respective boxes, if both boxes have Bluetooth.

He's talking about Android box, not Android TV's, and you get a decent one that does everything you need for below 5000 Baht

I am currently using the Aragon Live video addon for Kodi to access the live Thai TV stations.

Amongst other countries Thailand is listed:

    Capture_05.jpg

    Most channels work OK...

That is simply an addon version of the LivenetTv Android app, and not approved by the LivenetTV developer, because they get their funds from ads, so the developer will do everything in his power to boycott the addon.

So much better to install the Android app itself because it will be much more reliable than and outlive the addon for obvious reasons.

Other than that starting an app requires much less resources and time than open Kodi and run an addon.

If you have a good hosts file is your system folder you will also not see any ads.

Are you referring to the Smart IPTV app that is also on Samsung hub? We have a Samsung and the web site says LG and Samsung apps are not free, 5.49EU per TV.

https://siptv.app/activation/ and for Samsung the interface for Smart IPTV is very clunky, EPG poor and no catch up option either.

Siptv is a different app, and you're correct it's very clunky.

Smart STB is STBemu for Samsung and LG tv's, and has the same layout as a MAG device.

It works a charm and has catchup if your IPTV provider offers catchup, but it cost 27.99$ for registration.

Not sure what is wrong with what I stated. There are many IPTV providers and you're right many do offer free trials. The monthly fess vary widely and I was just giving the averages - $27.99 would be at the highest end of the pricing offered for IPTV services. There are dozens of providers who deliver IPTV services in the range I mentioned.

Smart STB is not an IPTV provider, it is the app for LG and Samsung tv's, needed to connect to a IPTV provider.

The 27.,99$ is for the Smart STB app registration.

I suggest you read up a bit on below link, then you know next time what you're talking about.

There are no charges to use these applications but the IPTV services can range from $7 to $15+ USD per month.

For that amount you get to access 5,000 - 7,500 channels (average) plus 2,500 to 5,000 VOD channels (average) plus all the major sports channels. IPTV services have various offerings for multiple devices. Just google IPTV and you'll see pages of offerings. I usually then go to Trust Pilot for reviews.

You are wrong, you can get a free 7 days trial, but registration is 27.99$

Sorry to hear that... Glad you got your Shield. But not surprised about DHL, because in my experience here in Thailand, DHL sucks the donkey's a**!  Likewise be interested to see if DHL is persuaded by EBay...

If there is a device that would require licensing in Thailand it will be the Shield, because it runs Android TV, which is an operating system fine tuned for the purpose of streaming.

Hope you get it sorted, but at the end of the day it isn't DHL that makes the decision, but Thai customs.

    No that is inaccurate.
I too have an LG Smart TV.
Go to the LG Content store and download the free Smart IPTV app.

Then you must sign up online for a third party IPTV service. There are many choices.

Once you get your link from the IPTV provider, just load the link into the Smart IPTV app and you're done.

You certainly do not need an Android box, Fire Stick, Apple TV or whatever.
Your LG Smart TV makes that hardware unnecessary.

But the app isn't free, isn't it?

I think it's something like 30$ to use on 1 TV.

Exactly , I see no point banning android boxes , it's just the software that makes it illegal.

That's also the reason why they aren't banned at all, they only made it a bit more complicated to import them, in an attempt to protect some elite.

Kodi is also 100% legal software.

But the main point of my reply is to ask -- Are you saying you've ever seen a TCL TV for sale in Thailand with the Roku OS???   I've never found such a thing here.

No I never seen a TCL Roku in Thailand, thought I made that clear when I mentioned it is only really useful in the US.

Roku has now removed most third party apps from their store, you can't even install an IPTv app anymore.

So, for Android TV OS platforms, that list is showing:

    --Phillips (are they in Thailand?)

--Sharp (I thought it was an S brand I was thinking of)

    --Sony

--TCL (although not the model I bought a year ago, unless they're using a very general definition for Android TV)

That list also is not specific to Thailand. For example, in the U.S., there are many models of TCL TVs that come with the Roku OS as default. But here in Thailand, I don't think I've ever seen any TV brand running the Roku OS, even though they're common in other markets.

Philips is in Thailand, but only certain models have Android TV, same goes for Sharp.

TCL has 3 different operating systems, they have Roku TV, Smart TV2 ( which I think is the system you have on your TCL) and the most recent models have licensed Android TV.

I don't have experience with Sony but a sales guy at Powebuy told me that it is more limited Android TV than the latest TCL's.

Roku is only really useful in the US, so doesn't make sense to have them in Thailand

You definitely don't want a tv with Roku OS, because Roku doesn't allow third party apps.

Bit same as the AIS boxes.
