If I was the spirit I'd be offended by such an ugly tattoo.
Without tattoo I'd have to judge on a case-by-case basis.

I feel central bankers anywhere in the world are just as clueless. There doesn't seem to be any original thought anywhere. The solution of every bank in all countries in the world seem to be "quantitative easing" and it hasn't helped anyone but the richest people that have seen their stock values grow.

Keep in mind I mostly drink cappuccinos, but with that said ...
I think Amazon is fine. But at home I drink Doi Wiang coffee and that one is fine for me as well. https://m.facebook.com/pages/category/Coffee-Shop/Doiwiang-Coffee-กาแฟดอยเวียง-ไชยปราการ-เชียงใหม่-812733558808565/?locale2=th_TH&__nodl&refsrc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&ref=external%3Awww.google.com&_rdr

I think you need to get some more hobbies. Some work can be good. Having some land to farm might be good. Personally I like computer programming, so that's what I do (whether paid for by clients or in my free time). You could also join some dancing club so you come into contact with other people. There are many possibilities.

I never bought singles I think. I did buy albums though.
The first one was probably from Metallica, most likely "Ride The Lightning".

Have you used such a service and can recommend one? If so, which bank do they work with? I have bank accounts in Bangkok (opened years ago when it was much easier), but I'd like to open one in Pattaya without having to go through that onerous immigration or embassy certificate of residence routine.
The Kasikorn branch in BigC Pattaya Klang opened a bank account for me without work permit or anything (back in 2016). But I did have to buy some insurance policy that was probably 10.000 THB. Not sure if that's worth it for you.

My experience in a Thai village, albeit seven years ago, is about 100k a rai. Prices haven't shot up since then by any means.
I like the above suggestion of asking the ex-husband if he wants to buy out your GF at 50% of his evaluation.
I doubt if they're queuing halfway round the block at the local estate agent to snap up land at his prices.
Got a mate who's ex missus contested the house/property sale recently. Four million baht + to build. My mate wanted 1 million to walk away. His missus was being awkward so it went to court. He was awarded his million on completion of a sale. It went to auction and nobody had the money to buy it at a decent price. It sold for 1.5m. She walked away with only 500k less costs. Might be worth her while going down that road and see what half is worth at auction.
I'm sure 100k per rai is land without chanote, right?

Some scammer tried to contact my girlfriend on Facebook, same kind of story. But this guy was apparently from the US Army and working in Afghanistan. When my girlfriend told me about this, I checked his Facebook. No history whatsoever. No connections. Nothing. Told my girlfriend he would say flattering things to her and at some point ask for money. So my girlfriend was prepared. Also I asked her to send me the photos of his Facebook and LINE accounts, but she was slow with that.
At some point she shows me a message with a bag full of US dollar bills. I told my girlfriend that he would ask her at some point to send some money in order to receive more money. She said she wasn't stupid and wouldn't give the address. But just to be sure to convince my girlfriend I also asked her to send me the photos of his accounts.Using Google reverse image search it became clear that:
- 1 photo was from a popular German singer … quite typical blond and such.
- The other photo was indeed from a US army general, but he clearly had some asian heritage, black hair and such.
I believe at that point, my girlfriend finally stopped chatting with this guy.
We're not rich, but these people do target woman that they believe have at least some money. I guess my girlfriend posted photos of our house and car and gifts (like gold necklace and such) on Facebook, which must have peaked the scammer's interest.

Jomtien takes some beating, easy for immigration, plenty restaurants and bars when they are open, no police presence whatsoever, markets, mini lotus etc yet only a few minutes from Makro and Thepperasit. Baht buses everywhere so Pattaya easily accessible. Seen some real bargains lately on FB etc. There was a VT5 large seaview studio for 9k a month..I think 53sqm available.
I loved my time in VT5 in 2016. Excellent swimming pool. Back then I paid about 15k for a 50m2 condo, so 9k seems like an excellent deal.

I have no doubt that she loves me. I know she does and I know her intentions about us are good too. She`s been very loyal to me since the beginning and never any big issues other that money-related.
In the beginning it was fun and interesting, but now my stomach twist every time I think about it.
Seriously, who in their right mind can have this kind of work?
I didn't come to Thailand to wake up at 5 AM 6 days a week to do physical labor in 35 degrees for long hours. I didn`t come here to have the choice between sitting at home alone all day or sweat my ass off working on someones land.
What I do want however is a girl that finds time to have a relationship. A girl that makes me dinner every second day and keep the house tidy. She can work, sure no problem, but should have time for the house and me too.
I get nothing from this relationship anymore. Its only about work work work.
Maybe she makes dinner once a week. Dishes, cleaning, housework is all for me. Seriously, she done like nothing at home for 6 months. What is that? Can not help around the house because you are so tired you say? Have to end in a fight every time I bring up that house needs to be taken care of too? Are you selfish or what?!
I had a hope she change for the better, but at this point is clear it only change for the worse. If its like this now then it should be possible to predict how the future will be like, right.
Money-matters are one of the most important things in a relationship. Studies have shown that money issues are the number 2 relationship killer, after infidelity. For example: how many men lost their wives after they've lost their jobs? It happens quite a lot.
If you can't figure out how to deal with the money issues together, most likely your relationship is doomed.

It's a shame she wasn't raised in Thailand then. It seems to me many Thai girls know what they want and I doubt they get much sex ed here.

In the past I believed property prices in Pattaya and Bangkok would drop big time, but now I'm not sure anymore to be honest. Last weekend I saw a video that brought some good points into the discussion:
- Most foreigners buy with cash, as they cannot get a mortgage for the property in Thailand. This means there's less pressure to sell in an emergency, since there's no monthly payments for the property anymore. Of course there will always be some people that are forced to sell, but certainly not as much as there would be if every foreigner could get a mortgage easy here.
- Foreigners can only sell to other foreigners I believe and Thai only to other Thai because of the 49/51 quotas, so even if many Thai people would be forced to sell (since they do often have mortgages for these condos), they would have to sell to other Thai people. Not much benefit for foreigners in that regard.
- According to the video, the Thai population pyramid is still healthy (though I've heard conflicting opinions on this matter, so not 100% sure if this is true). A healthy population pyramid means that population should be increasing in the foreseeable future, so more demand.
- Since there's no property tax to pay every year, there's less pressure to sell as well. This might also be the reason why Thai people don't mind holding their unsellable properties for many years, as there is little cost involved.
I guess the Thai market is very different compared to the Western markets and there's a decent chance our Western assumptions might not be valid here.

Well, the Eurozone economy is a mess. Soon Northern Eurozone countries will need to bail out Southern Eurozone countries like Italy. It's gonna happen, no matter what a politician in a Northern Eurozone country is gonna say, since France and Germany already agreed on the matter.
This means that northern Eurozone countries will lose a lot of wealth to pay off depts that southern Eurozone countries can't manage. I am sure that is partially a reason for a weaker Euro. If I were an investor in currencies, I would get out of the Euro and into e.g. US dollar.
Dutch readers can check this video:
Deutsche Bank might also need a bailout in the near future (which might be the reason why Merkel is now in favour of Eurobonds, as in the past she opposed it), international readers can check this video:

Sometimes these loan sharks also force the lenders to put up their property (land and such) up as collateral.

Next year I'm sure a lot of Thais will be forced to sell their properties. Thais are into heavy debts and at some point due to a crushed economy from covid, many of the highly indebted Thai people will be forced to sell land and houses. I'm sure many rich Thais are already preparing to buy up these properties cheaply (especially land).
