I arrived on visa exempt and am renting condo and owner says need to report my stay to Immigration with tm6. I am assuming it is same system as before. I was given tm6 on plane and completed it and given to airport immigration with passport so I did get one. Either wasn't given departure slip back or I lost it.

I arrived today (6\7) at Suvumbharmi airport and after arriving in Pattaya I cannot find my TM 6 departure slip anywhere, so I will be off to Immigration Soi 5 early tomorrow (7/7) to sort it out. What is procedure and any cost please?

And getting a booster when protection drops low between 4 and 6 months. So imv a booster around every 6 months. Hence 2 a year is prudent worked around any new variant issues. Btw, vaccines don't stop you catching Covid. Their real worth is effective at reducing hospitalization and death plus reduction in long covid risk. That's kinda worth it!!!

Agree with the gap 3 months minimum and up to 6+ months between vaccines that's why I had my 2nd booster last week as previous booster in November 2021. Over 6 months ago

Yes, existing vaccines are not tailored to new sub variant, but it's not true, as they DO still provide a general immune protection response even so and should allow for a hospital and death free experience. Bottom line, that's all I'm really concerned about and its well protected even by current vaccines if up to booster stage and certainly for my 4 mixed shots. I just had Moderna as my 4th - 2nd booster. Astra Zenica twice then pfizer last Nov and Moderna a week ago. However, I've been in uk past 2 1/2 years and flying to thailand in a weeks time. Hopefully well protected. Not had covid so far. Feel I'm bound to catch it on plane or in Thailand but reassured I'm as protected as possible from hospitalization, long covid or death. Vaccination wise at least, I'm sure glad I've been in UK. Good NHS early and free roll out programme.

I will travel to Thailand in June for 28 days and know I need at least $10,000 Covid cover. I asked in uk travel agent today and their annual policy for trips of no more than 31 days sounded good value and can use for other trips as valid for a year. I asked about Covid cover and was told Medical cover is up to £10 million and this includes covid cover. On asking if the covid cover was for at least $10,000 equiv. the reply was its included in Medical cover and so is up to the £10 million....certainly more than enough but does this sound right as most (all) travel insurance has a very high Medical cover and if that includes covid then surely the standard travel policy so long as covid is included are ALL fine as a matter of course! I'd assumed with all the drama on this topic that covid insurance was an add on and certainly wasn't part of the bog standard travel insurance Medical Cover element that, so long as includes Covid cover, goes way beyond the minimum $10k requirement? I.e £10 mill!! So, if I check that the Medical Cover on my travel insurance includes covid cover then as limit will be multiples of $10k equiv. (£10M) thats job done for the Thai Pass from 1/5/22 as do ALL travel insurance policies that include Covid in Medical Cover??

I am just waiting until I can return without any restrictions except a PCR test to enter without any quarantine for vaccinated folk. Then I will return to sort out my affairs and complete my relocation back to uk permanently. Far too many downsides to living in Thailand and I did that for 13 years. Pollution, pesticides, poor air quality, hospitals not actually competent often in my experience, Sun exposure damage build up often under estimated, flipping street dogs, xenophobic population, jumping through immigration hoops, 2 tier pricing and ripoff, dangerous driving, political shambles, exch rate and no longer cheap....so much more, but I'll stop there. Just waiting to return to leave for good!!

Oh and peace and quiet versus Thailand and Thais relentless noise often at all hours. Far too many niggles versus uk peace and things work. Ahhh 3 years of joy and no regrets at moving back!! Winter could be a bit warmer but that's coming...........

I moved back to uk from Thailand and overall find it much better here in uk. For food you can enjoy all categories of price with Wetherspoons offering great value which at current exchange rates is similar or cheaper than the same in Thailand. Granted you can eat Thai cheaper but not western food. Of course that comes with killing yourself with pesticides and poor air quality in Thailand, but you can't quantify these silent killers so easily. Accommodation much cheaper in Thailand but with a plan B in your own country and/or renting out your house then it's not an issue if you plan and act sensibly. What about the cheaper items in uk....2nd hand car prices are way cheaper here in uk!! You can work here to fund the costs. Part time job keeping you active and engaged rather than propping up the bar and supporting your Thai partner/wife who invariably if you're honest doesn't appreciate or respect you. Life is much better, more opportunity and less annoyance and danger in uk. Been back for 3 years and best thing I ever did after 10 years living in Thailand with so many areas of issue for health, immigration, xenophobia and its NOT cheap any longer with inflation and exchange rate.

How does this relate and how should we time this process when we cannot finish the process until 1 to 3 days before travel to submit our PCR test result required to be within 72 hours before departure?

So I just need Thailand pass, covid test result within 72 hours UK departure, flight tickets - date/details fitting as stated above and passport, if nothing changes meantime?

So on arrival I can just roll up at BKK Airport Thai immigration with passport and no visa at all and be granted 30 days stay courtesy of being Visa Empt and then able to extend my stay for another 30 days at immigration. Great! How long before 1st 30 days expire should I go to Thai immigration to extend for another 30 days? Can I book my return flight back to UK for 60 days after UK departure date, knowing I will extend after 1st 30 days, for a further 30 days at local Thai immigration?

I'm in uk and plan to come to Thailand without arranging any visa. I assume I can stay for 30 days on a VOA entry? Can this be extended for a week or more at Immigration? Or what's best option to extend a VOA for a further period when approaching its expiry? General question irrespective of covid, although helpful to also include any related ramifications/covid changes and looking to depart uk in late January 2022
