A real billionaire, vs. a barely billionaire. A smart man, vs a man with a very modest IQ. A man with alot of political experience, a respect for the rule of law, and a good orator. How refreshing would all of that be. For most of us, his wealth barely matters. If anything, it makes him alot less "sold out" than the present occupant. It is about who can beat Trump, and who can do a decent job leading the nation. Go "Little Mike" go! You can beat this egomaniacal clown.
You mean it will be Trump vs a guy standing on a box.

It's the electoral vote that counts. I learned that in fifth grade. Trump understood it but looks like many people don't.

Rumors going around of Bloomberg closing Clinton as his running mate for VP. What a horrible thought.
It would be great for Hillary. If they lose, she can blame the man (Bloomberg) as she usually does, and if they win, Bloomberg resigns the day after he is inaugurated thus making Clinton president. Or he could end up dead, his choice. ????

From what English teachers here have told me, schools prefer American teachers over other nationalities. True? I can't see them getting many Americans to fly this far to teach for what is considered low pay in the US.

In my experience, they don't want a "statement" in the US meaning of the word. They want a very specific letter prepared by the bank about the account. It's a very specific form. Bangkok Bank charges me 100B to prepare it, and that's what verifies the 800,000B I have in a fixed deposit. Immigration has never asked for anything else other than that specific letter (which I'm guessing they called a statement?).
*Now* they ask for that letter and a 12 month statement, the latter being a record of the last 12 months of deposits, withdrawals, and balances. It cost me 200 THB at Bangkok Bank. The letter was 100 thb and available immediately. The statement took one week to get from Bangkok. I believe the requirement for the statement started Jan 2020.

I don't know about anyone else I leave my 400k in an account year round and forget about it, it solves a lot of problems when it comes to extension time because the passbook tells the entire 12 month story.
I do the same with the 800k. Still, Imm. wanted a statement even though the fixed account passbook does tell the entire story on its own.

Seems to me that the object of the exercise is to get everyone going through an agent so the backhanders increase. I can't think of one possible reason other than that to ask for a 12 month statement for a 800,000 in the bank retirement visa. Two months maybe, to prove the seasoning period.
My understanding is that they now want the 12 month statement when using the 800k method to verify that you met the 800k/400k minimums from the previous extension. I agree with you that it seems they want us to use agents.

So Pelosi is now accused of dragging out the impeachment. During the Senate trial she was accused of rushing impeachment instead of taking the time to adequately investigate.
She held the articles of impeachment, delayed sending them to the Senate so Bernie would have to be in the trial instead of campaigning. Backfired.

"Klobuchar surge in New Hampshire could reshuffle Democratic White House race"
Indeed the race has been reshuffled.
Pelosi's plan to tank Sanders by dragging out the impeachment backfired big time. Instead of tanking Bernie, it tanked Biden! Trump played it well, dragging Biden's name into it as much as he could. Now we have Bernie, Pete, and Amy in the top three slots. Pelosi will have to do more to tank Bernie.

I pay a agent 3,000b and she has everything in order when I arrive for my appointment no hassel no anger and the job is done. You stated they closed the doors when they had 100 people in immigration did they reopen doors later for more folks are was that total for the day
Exactly what I do and the amount I pay, 3000 baht. Went smooth as glass for me a few weeks ago. The agent told me that unlike last year, I needed the 12 month statement. It took about a week to get from Bangkok Bank. A hundred bucks a year is money well spent to avoid going through the hell the OP went through. My appointment was at a convenient 2 PM or 14:00 if you prefer. ????

Sounds a bit odd,
For retirement you only need 800k in the bank a few months.
No requirement for a years bank statements (that would be the 65k/month income method)
They've never wanted all the pages in my passport either, just the data page and last VISA & stamp entry page.
Sounds like you weren't dressed correctly and didn't show proper respect!
I go to HCMC for my VISA's at the moment, I'd top myself if I had to endure CM Immigration.
CM Imm. now requires a statement for the previous 12 months if using the 800k method.

I understand that the loss of press privileges is a big deal, but surely people of influence could find an opportunity to put the undisputed facts to Trump after they have set him up to start one of his rambling untruth speeches.
Get it all recorded and embarrass all of those who prop up his sham.
No one has clearly and concisely called him out and backed it up with fact. People questioning Trump always leave him weasel room and leave him with the final retort which is generally just a verbal smear or blatant lie.
Sanders has started to call him out but is not using specifics to do so and is not doing so to Trump's face. I'm not sure if he will still be around at the pointy end or whether he has the nounce to set Trump up to politically hang himself in public, though. Need someone with the temperament of Pelosi but be a more imposing unflappable public speaker than Pelosi.
I wonder if the Democrats can come up with a strategy to just show Trump up in public enough times to watch him implode with rage. And I think he could be set up to absolutely lose it given the right circumstances. and tact. Attacking his sense of right and his vanity and having him in a position where he simply must respond would set him off.
It is fascinating to watch the hold this mob boss has on the country and to some extent other nations.
If he's as inept as you say, it should be no problem beating him at the ballot box.

Hopefully some day soon all those tweets will be enough to indict TD (again) for obstruction of justice and abuse of power and a second impeachment can be started. He'd be the first president to be impeached twice, and in one term, no less. Although his hardcore base will probably see that as quite an accomplishment.
Trump has never been indicted.
The way to remove Trump from office is to run a better candidate and vote him out. With the current Dem mindset that is impossible.
