A Hong Kong location is no more a red flag than any dodgy US, UK or European location, there are many reputable sellers in HK.
If you get something fake from eBay, what's the problem, just get a refund, it's all part of the deal, isn't it?
Nope, you can't get in touch with the seller because it says that too many messages were sent already. But I informed Ebay and they got in touch with him/her.
Exactly, if no response is forthcoming from the seller in a couple of days all that has to be done is open a case with eBay and you're covered.

Maybe not - as I stated as soon as I informed ebay they removed seller and claimed no responsibility as seller not part of their system anymore.
Sorry, but I've bought and sold many items on eBay and have had several refunds, the company is far from perfect but I don't believe eBay works the way you described it.

They keep sending me bonus and discount offers, because I can't get off their email list. i ignore every one.
"...shipping it back to a supplier who changes identities like I change socks..."
Most people know that buying from sellers with no reputation to check is very risky, sellers who have a good rep and have been around a couple of years do not change their IDs.
If you've been sold something that's not genuine or as described the seller is not your problem, eBay refunds you and then sorts it out with the dodgy seller.
"Hong Kong is notorious for inflated shipping charges".
No problem when you're returning something, the buyer doesn't pay HK shipping charges!
"They keep sending me bonus and discount offers...i ignore every one!
You know that you buy from sellers, you don't but anything from eBay? Why assume that every seller is dodgy?

No, it is not "bs", neither was he making-up anything. How does a depth perception test judge "reaction" when it is there solely to test depth perception and there is no speed element taken onto consideration?

No they do not. in 20 years i was never tested nor saw or heard of anyone else being tested for eyesight besides color blind test
Is the depth perception test not an eyesight test of sorts?

I know someone (a Thai) who failed the motorbike test the first time she did it but passed on the second attempt, this was only about a month ago.
Well, that's interesting.

Funny thing is DLT does not check if you blind or must wear glasses , they only check if you colourblind as if one would not know top is red and bottom is green.
...and in the case of traffic lights that are mounted horizontally?

They need a new researcher.
You need to be 15 to ride a motorcycle not over 110cc. For a larger motorcycle you need to be 18.
There was nothing incorrect about the general information that was provided, a new researcher is not required.

Or does money trump everything else? as you clearly outlined can not possibly be love just by looking at him
No. Kicking woman make him not suitable. I not care if he Trump.
His name is Carey Thompson, age 65, from New Zealand. He went to the hospital in the pickup and then the police lock him in the jail.
Why you defend him? Your friend?
Yinn, ""trump" (without the capital), in this case is not a name; to "trump" something means to win, or beat or better something else. He was not referring to Mr Trump.
He just preferred not to explain it to you so that he could keep the misunderstanding going longer!

Your ignorance offends me, and no i did not say Trump, if you do not grasp the language well enough, then do not bother to respond.
Perhaps it would have helped if you'd just explained to her how she, as a non-native English speaker, had simply misunderstood the English that you used?

What a crock, you don't know any more than anyone else. People go to jail here for playing bridge!
What a crock; no, they don't. Some people who were (incorrectly, it turned out) suspected of organised gambling on bridge did go to jail for a very short time, though.

I have said to my wife if she is stopped and fined to ask for identification of the new law so we can look it up.
Don't waste your time, or risk antagonising the police officer. Apart from telling you what you are being ticketed for is the law, no police officers, anywhere, are obliged to provide that specific information at a roadside check. If you dispute the regulation you can take it to court.

Moved into a condo, mattress is a bit dirty and dusty. I'd like to have it cleaned. The few places I've contacted basically said they do a deep vacuum, which would help with the dust but not any staining. Any suggestions?
Have you tried this company, https://www.facebook.com/pg/dreamhygiene/services/
If the mattress is dirty and stained, why not just ask the owner to replace it, maybe offer to go halves on the price?

One option I gave a thought to is to go into a hotel and ask to use their business centre but not sure if they would let me considering I’m not staying there. - has anyone tried this ?
Most hotels with a business centre will allow non-guests to use it but they will charge. I've done that many times.

Really? A record of all time? So "time" has ended already, has it, (when was the last addendum to the bible).
Unless time began a couple of thousand years ago those "tuned-in transcribers" seem to have omitted several billion years of records.

Within a month of implementation the system would be inundated with complaints of service, quality of meds, paying too much for substandard care and on and on ad nauseum. No, I think it's wise for the Thais to give this a pass..
There's no chance of it even being considered. I'm pretty sure that the government doesn't take tips on how they should run (any part of) the country from posters of a forum whose members, in the main, are well-known to delight in daily Thai-bashing!

Honestly it is not only about that and I already have that 95% sorted from a bank here now. It is about more restrictions the financial institutions are creating making it extremely hard for foreigners to get a bank account and I have spoken to many-O-foreigners who have had the same complaint. Now, if the government didn't have a hand in this then the banks would be open for business same same as they always were. So, if you do not have a bank account you will not be able to do extensions... Correct!
It's not "extremely hard" to get a bank account. I walked into Krungsri, Exchange Tower, off the street, 6 weeks ago, had a new savings account in 20 mins, using a retirement extension and a copy of my lease.
Kasikorn opened a new savings account on the same basis without issues some months ago, as did UOB.
Attitude and appearance has a lot to do with the response received, as does already having an account at another bank in my experience.

No, it doesn't. How the hell do you draw that conclusion just because you, personally, can't get a credit card. Ridiculous.

However, to get a job as a "pretty" I am sure you need to be reasonably good looking.
Thaivisa was pointing that out simply to avoid the usual daft, off-topic remarks about the girls' looks that always drag these threads out to scores of pages..
