Biden gets elected (roundly thrashing his opponent by millions of votes). Russia invades Ukraine. Global oil prices surge, gas prices at the pump surge creating a knock on impact onto inflation. Biden makes a decision it’s better under these circumstances to park planned policy towards Saudi Arabia in the interest of getting oil prices down, gas prices down and inflation down. Now you think he should have stuck to Plan A and if he didn’t he’s a liar.

A simpler answer is Trump was demanding his attorneys made statements in court that were directed at the ‘court of public opinion’. Many of the statements and points his attorneys made sounded very much like they came directly from Trump’s social media account. Great sound bites to be fed to his rubes but lacking any legal standing.

Trump was removed from office by a fair and democratic election. Trump was indicted by a Grand Jury, Trump has been convicted by a jury of his pears in open court. If you have evidence that the Jury did not give right and proper consideration to the evidence and testimony presented in court, let’s be having it.

Trump wasn’t convicted in less than twelve hours, the trial went on for weeks. I do accept that you might not be used to the rich and powerful being held accountable to the law, but holding a rich and powerful criminal accountable to the law in open court of law and judged by a jury is the polar opposite of ‘Banana Republic’ behavior.

Legal minds are being paid by media outlets to say stuff that gets and keeps eyes on page. The same folk who for weeks have been saying Trump will not be convicted.

OK so you didn’t get the verdict you wanted. But Jury saw the evidence, sat through the testimonies and passed their verdict. Guilty on 34 counts is a fact. That you play semantics with ‘accept’ does not alter that fact.
