  1. Or perhaps prone to accept g scapegoating and the idea of easy solutions to complex problems. Or even totally blind to the threat the far right always represent to freedom, democracy and liberty.
  2. The venue is NY because the alleged crimes were committed in NY.
  3. I read the OP too. Perhaps you can point out the bit that supports your claim:
  4. Yes I did. I borrowed a copy, I’m rather pleased I didn’t waste money on it, or more precisely, put any of my money in Murray’s pocket.
  5. Murray is widely regarded as far-right and Islamophobic. I’ve explained my own reasoning above.
  6. It went badly because once the extreme rightwing gain power by scapegoating minorities, or anyone they can label as ‘the other’, and promising simple solutions to complex problems; they set about their actual objective. Absolute power. Their own, absolute power.
  7. Like 12 citizens can’t be trusted with coming to a verdict based solely upon the evidence and testimony presented in court?
  8. Sorry to have spotted a behavior and then had my observation confirmed.
  9. I presume you’ve read the book you linked? Any of the authors scribbling?
  10. I think people who write books laced with ‘the great replacement theory’ and resort to repetitive pejorative statements against millions of people on the basis of their faith are bigots. When the particular faith they target is Islam and the particular group they target is Muslims, then yes they are Islamophobes. You might disagree and I’m not in the least bit surprised if you do.
  11. Are you playing the ‘Gay Card’? I certainly wasn’t.
  12. First you give us grossly generalized pejorative views against millions of people, then you round it out by presenting your reading matter from a far right, Islamophobic author.
  13. Much of it in the past 5, and the letting dangerous prisoners out early, that's something new.
  14. People unable to get the medicines they need have certainly learned something, farmers going out of business, UK exporters who have had to set up operations in the EU, they’ve all learned something.
  15. No they are not blocked by liberals, the Government policy is blocked because it runs foul of UK law. Total incompetence in the part of the Government in its search for a distraction from the rest of its failures. And all at cost of hundreds of £millions of tax payers’ money. It’s well past time for change.
  16. The Government has an unassailable majority but can’t enact policies that don’t run foul of UK law. But of course it’s always somebody else’s fault.
  17. I thought the Government of the past 14 years had sorted that?
  18. There were multiple witnesses and piles of documents.
  19. And an observation by me of that propensity of yours to insert immigration into any and all topics regardless of what the topic is. You might recall I said I would point out examples of this behavior of yours.
  20. Voted for by the whole of Parliament with proportionally more support from Tories than Labour. And opposed all the way by your favorite MP Corbyn.
  21. Nothing for you to worry about then Jonny, Sunak and the Tories have it in the bag.
  22. With an extra 166,000 unemployed, and millions of those that are working unable to pay their bills or afford a home of their own.
  23. Acting like clowns is one thing. Utilizing an unassailable majority in Parliament to squander tax payers money, stuffing the pockets of their chums and waisting hundreds of £millions on preformative cruelty projects is quite something else. It’s way past time for a change,
