  1. No, nothing about your honesty is a problem for me.
  2. Her latest offering, she wants to ‘review worker’s rights’. This’ll be fun.
  3. I wonder if you are only pretending to be ignorant of the historical events to which you referred?!
  4. That’s a bit rich coming from someone who spends so much time telling us what newspapers he won’t read. I’ll skip your videos thank you.
  5. I’m trying to make sense of that.
  6. London, Birmingham, (Handsworth and Sparkbrook.) Bath, Bristol, Oxford, Manchester, Salford, Wigan, Sheffield, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Plus lots of places in between. Sparkbrook was the most disappointing, Adil’s has closed shop - I was gutted. I hope you don’t need a list of all the towns, villages and hamlets I cycled though.
  7. Odd you should mention him, the finger pointed at an ethnic minority, a textbook case of blaming minorities.
  8. Like I say, I don’t even open videos. If you have something to say from your own personal experience, I’m all ears.
  9. It’s relevant to the views you are expressing and consistent with your own demands to know when others were in the UK. But I’ll take your latest confirmed personal knowledge to be from over 40 years ago. Hence the reliance on ripped videos I suppose.
  10. I’ve told you, I was right bang in the area of the Handsworth riots at the time they occurred.
  11. When was the last time you were back in the UK. I want to pick your ‘knowledge’.
  12. Powell admirers and supporters throw ‘race riots’ into the pot without first taking the trouble to read up on the history of the events they wish to try and make their case with.
  13. I was certainly familiar with the Handsworth riots, I walked through the area about two hours before they kicked off. I lived right around the corner at the time. I personally never suffered any violence or abuse from the people of Handsworth, not from a single one. Brixton riots, root cause, police racism towards local non white community. Toxteth riots, again police abuse of local black community, largely through the sus-laws. I personally witnessed black friends being harassed under the sus-laws, they being humiliated in public while me and whites friends being ‘allowed on our way’. Chappletown 87, kicked off after police beating a young black lad. Moss Side “, kicked off after long standing racist abuse by the police. A pattern is emerging.
  14. It a discussion site. Videos are subject to editing and the bias of those who do the editing. If I wanted to watch videos I’d join TikTok.
  15. Never saw blood in any streets, nor rivers, no signs of civil war, no signs of immigrants showing the ‘whip hand’. But I did see evidence of communities of people from all backgrounds struggling with poverty and coming together to help each other out.
  16. This is a discussion forum, not a video sharing site. So I won’t bother with your ripped video, but I will gladly accept your recommendation for places to visit if based on your own personal experience of being their recently. places change all the time, so the date of your most recent visit will be the clincher.
  17. I did, as I said earlier, I went lots of places. And as I have said, very recently. If you have any up to date personal experience of places I should go on my next visit, let me know. Where you recommend and how recent is your personal experience of the place?
  18. I was very recently in the UK, can’t say I recognized any of Powell’s predictions.
  19. I stayed in lots of places, in the UK, including some not in England.
  20. Trump’s supporters are clinging onto straws as tightly as Trump himself was clinging on to these Government documents he had no right to. Like the documents, the straws are randomly scattered all over the place. Justice is coming.
  21. Perhaps there aren’t enough police around (what happened to them I wonder). In the three months I was in the UK I only saw the police twice, once on the motorway, once in the queue at an ATM.
  22. I was in the UK this summer, it was still wonderful. The biggest problem, head and shoulders above everything else, is the cost of living crisis, which (for the time being) is just about beating the collapse of NHS services in the list of public concerns. Which is perhaps why the rightwing press are ranting again about immigrants. It would be unbearable if the promised ‘bright and sunny uplands’ hadn’t shown up.
  23. Because the evidence needs to be placed before a Grand Jury first, they then need to hand down an indictment. Also, we know that Trump is also under numerous criminal investigations, J6, Vote rigging in Georgia etc, it is very likely that the DOJ will make a single arrest on multiple counts. And finally, the extreme rightwing are making thinly veiled threats (some not so thinly veiled) of violence if Trump is arrested. I don’t think for a moment that those threats will deter the DOJ, but I do expect the DOJ will absolutely double and treble check that all their ‘t’s’ are crossed and all their ‘I’s’ are dotted. Be patient, Justice is coming.
