The 20 year TE option IS 1mBht thus is 50,000/year.
Does TE allow to live in Thailand or this option has some limit for amount days in the country? Probably, "smart" option implies living in the country all over the year and TE for frequently visits.

Exactly i don't remember where saw the following wording: "stay with spouse and family support". In form examples at the consulate or at the local migration....

Those are only general requirements. Each office may have a different requirement.
This approach seems to apply to many immigration issues. Every time you can get a surprise at the border or local immigration office.

On the site of the immigration bureau there is not data about proof of address. Is it outdated information?

Why not do it at the local immigration?
Is the above procedure a way to circumvent the 400k requirement ?
As far as I know, he is not poor. Probably, MaeJoMTB is the near the true, because extension required many paperwork. However it is his choice, i just helped with the car.

A few days ago I came back with the friend from Mukdahan. He made next NON-O visa at the Savannakhet. I just drove him to the border and waited in the Mukdahan. There were not issues at the embassy and at border. Queue was about 20 peoples to put documents. List of required papers is the same as described above.

Crossed Laos and Thai border by 15.10.
Were there some issues while crossing border on the Thai side?

May be it is mistake in the paper, outdated information or immigration officers want to see bank account story in more depth....

One more question about seasoning period. There is the condition about 3 month on paper that I was given in immigration:
"Letter and copy of saving bank book reflecting not less than 400.000 baht. By showing the saving account statement for 3 month earlier."
Is this period really not 60 days? I missed the figure 3 months previously and thought that required period is 60 days.

2) do not fly in to DMK. use BKK if you have to fly in.
Why do you think, that Suvarnabhumiairport is the better place to come in? Probably, can get troubles in both.

Does it enough 12 days to apply extension? I will have 12 days allowed for stay into Thailand (90 day period) when money seasoning will be completed. Looks like the OP will spent about 1 month (January 19 - February 16) for extension.

I will going to make 1 year extension based on marriage soon. Local immigration provided for me the same requirements about money in a bank:
On 1/19/2018 at 1:30 PM, HampiK said:- Bank Book (Deposit)
- Bank letter including a copy of all the pages from the bank book (was made by the bank.. thanks)
The question: is it necessary to show that money came from abroad? Cache was got from ATM, and seasoning now. ATM transactions papers lost.

They don't need proof, OP did not meet the entry requirement, see 007 RED's post.
20 hours ago, 007 RED said:The OP was refused entry on the grounds of Section 12(2) of the Immigration Act (as shown in his post #28). – "Having no appropriate means of living following entrance to the Kingdom".
I suspect that the OP did not give the senior IO in the ‘back office’ satisfactory answers/evidence as to how he funded his previous/proposed stay(s) leading the IO to suspect that the OP may have been working to fund his stay(s). The IO only needs reasonable grounds to suspect that the OP was working in order fund his stay(s) to refuse entry on the grounds of 12(2)
Therefore i made post about the bank statement. It could be the answer for the question: how he funded his previous/proposed stay(s)? So, the work of the OP seems not to be the main reason for the refusal of the entrance. Actually they did not know does him working or not in Thailand and they had not proofs for it.

I had both dollars and euros and Thai bats worth more than 50,000 in cash.
I can be mistaken, but for tourist which spend more then half year in the trip it is not convincing amount (50 000 THB). May be bank statement with equivalent of the 1MB satisfied the IO.

So the IO was correct in refusing you entry. He gave the wrong reason, but the underlying cause was true: suspicion of working illegally.
They had not proofs. Its working on areas, flavored with personal factor.

this is ridiculous. having him go home to get new passport and come back. didnt u know the thai immigration monitors this site??????? they probably know who the dude is as they can access who is here by name. GAME IS OVEr..............i work hard to follow the rules here and i have never had an issue.
Look at the name of the forum to understand its purpose. Do you want to say that here inappropriate place to discuss any solutions for the OP issue? Looks like OP has money and a lot of free time, so "Game is over" it is really ridiculous.

Actually officer did not let me know why he wanted to rejected me. However, i was persistent, showed marriage documents and the problem was resolved with higher rank officer.

The Thai government has made it very clear that tourist visas are not to be used for long stays, period. Thailand has other visa for such cases, namely the non-O ones.
Few months ago officer wanted to reject me with NON-O visa(upon marriage) in the Suvarnabhumi airport. So, some times it is not working as well.
