So the cop celebrated his transfer and shot the vendor??
Ok then, the vendors thumb is usable and so would be his trigger finger?
So why not give him the cops gun to give the cop what he gave out, and would save the government 25 years of prison costs?
Then give the injured vendor a decent payout now from the projected savings?
Business is business, and let the punishment fit the crime.
I don't think he will last 25 days in prison nevermind 25 years.
Let's hope.....

I guess he won't have a to worry for long.
Killed in jail.

As a Police Chief once said to me" Thailand not ask you come here, you pay come here, you can pay come and go anytime you want. You not like GO"
No truer words ever said.

It's only on a piece of paper and yet another plan of action!!!

I remember 24/7 hours, polite, friendly staff, excellent bar girls, 68 to the pound and very little crime.
It was safe to stagger out of a bar without being beaten up or robbed.
Los was Los

Everyone knows who spends money in Thailand and it is not the average Indian tourists.
They should be welcoming the Western tourists from all walks of life back with open arms.
I guarantee a single back packer from the Western world will spend more than 5 Indians crammed into a grotty 1 star hotel room.

I hope this goes on the front page of "The Sun" and similar tabloids around the world.
They want dirty tourists to spend money, however, the dirty tourists must touch money, sleep on bedding, drink from glasses and eat from plates. Unfortunately they will probably have contact with others.

LOS or China?
The Chinese government will be the winners IF! this happens.
Chinese developers, Chinese money,. Chinese tourists. Oh, and Chinese diseases.
IMO it will not happen.
I understand that LOS has virtually left but surely this would finally be the end of LOS.

IMO the Teacher who did this should have gone with the student to the school gate and explained the situation to the parent.
Easy and simple solution.

Open the window and pay the 300 baht
All will result in a happy life in Thailand

And the news is?
Nothing new, drunk and walking the streets.
Lots of taxis, motorcycle taxis.
He won't do it again.
This happens worldwide, he wouldn't do it in his home city.
A lesson to all.
No sympathy and I speak from personal experience.

I'm sure it will be a long term solution ???????????? NOT

Anyone else remember the pound at around 70 baht to the pound?
The Kingdom was heaving with tourists, very little crime, Thailand people pleased to welcome tourists, clean beaches and a safe and secure LOS?
People came to the Kingdom knowing what to expect
I doubt if many of these things will ever return but wouldn't it be nice?
Any thoughts?

Any thoughts??.

If I remember correctly most Thailand people wear masks regardless. I think the trend will not go away whatever the government says.
I will be continue wearing mine.
Personally I don't see a problem with it.
