  1. If she said it in Thai you probably wouldn’t have a clue what she is saying. im guessing your avatar of the dark skin guy isn’t actually you then.
  2. I’m definitely not buying a Lamborghini now.
  3. Driving such an eggtravagant vehicle the cops are going to eggsajurate the fine for sure and the ferrrang will likely end up with egg on his face after this.. Eggsiting stuff!
  4. Dumped eh... in Thailand eh.. the lengths some people will go to not to have to fly back home is simply beyond me...
  5. Thats good news for you. Just to make others aware in case they are unsure it takes time (I think it’s about 3-4 weeks correct me if wrong) after exposure to test positive so a next day test wouldn’t necessarily give a true test result. Also if others think they have been exposed, taking the meds as soon as possible, available from a sexual health clinic, for a short while can ensure the virus doesn’t establish itself.
  6. I know people who either have hiv or who know someone who does and unfortunately i believe it’s much more prevalent than publicized/estimated. The people who dont know they have it is much higher, because how can the authorities predict an accurate number. Also this hasn’t been mentioned but I know of cases being transmitted including hepatitis C via blood transfusions in Thailand government hospitals. This is either known about and ignored or poor blood testing practices are in place and not followed up on, you can research this through medical articles. (number of hep c cases in Thailand) Blood is in short supply for transfusions and online medical research papers reveal that the blood is often taken from prisoners and accident victims without being thoroughly tested before being transfused. A lot of hush hush still goes on in Thailand unfortunately. Thats just my opinion.
  7. Good luck JAA. Even though the medicine is so good now that you can live your life without harm from the virus and you can have children without passing on the virus, just like other people, my prediction and hope is that there will be a cure in your lifetime so the stigma can end quickly too. Keep smiling young lady. ????
  8. It was my thought too as I’ve been around long enough to know it can happen but thaiwrath is a well known organization and the amount of media and photos of this story make it seem legit to me and I think it’s worth the risk to help the girl stand strong. I’m sure AseanNow did some due diligence too as they are promoting the crowdfund. Happy donating ????
  9. I’m sending 5k too, kids can be cruel with bullying but so can some adults too. Hope she stands strong. Hiv is ‘just another’ virus these days with the meds that stop it harming the body and prevent it being passed on or replicated although the stigma from history still prevails unfortunately. Hopefully education and time can change this.
  10. “Of course, if you are retired you probably do not pay tax.” pension income is taxed just like any other income.
  11. Tom cruise would say something along the lines of… If y’all gonna fly jets, may as well fly the best ????
  12. I just wanted to mention this about using Lazada to buy goods. I recently purchased something costing around 800baht and it was nothing as advertised and completely useless and so i returned it to the seller. The seller then sent a refund via Lazada Wallet. However the coupon will expire in 1 year if I dont use it and when I chat to Lazada customer support they said I need to be a Thai citizen to activate the wallet and be able to transfer funds from the wallet. So in reality because I wasn't born in Thailand I am allowed to register a Lazada account and pay money for things but I am not allowed to get the refund for anything if I decide to send it back and that money will remain in Lazada's wallet since I am not allowed to register for the Wallet part of the website. I don't even want a digital wallet I simply would like the refund sending back in cash or to my bank. The customer support said it is because bank of Thailand have changed some rules for anti money laundering and so Lazada cannot allow anyone to register to the wallet unless you are a Thai citizen. (I noticed the sign up process requests Thai ID card number). So I've just lost my cash unless I use it to buy something else - I might be able to register with my wifes name although its the principal that this is a very poor state of affairs isn't it? Just wanted to make people aware shopping via Lazada if you are not a Thai citizen, you have fewer rights to get your money back when shopping on their website. Rant over ????
