  1. It's time for repainting the house doors and skirting boards etc and I want to have a high standard of finish. Eg. 1. Rub down, fill if needed, primer bare areas, dust off, 2. undercoat, 1 or 2 coats, 3. topcoat. Visiting most of the superstores i see none of them seem to stock undercoat. When asked, their replies are"no stock" or " no need". Their eventual suggestion is:- 1. Rub down then primer any bare areas then 2. Top coat, rub down then 3. another top coat. Because the top coat is just like a transparent coloured varnish without much pigment, the finished results look poor. Has anyone else had these similar issues, and if so have been able to find suitable undercoats from other suppliers to enable a quality finish. Thanks for your help in advance.
  2. Agreed and did he have the "curtain" across the bottom half of his windscreen making it impossible to see anything close by?
  3. I'm thinking of purchasing ear buds and wonder if anyone has seen the Google advert for earbuds and purchased the BLX buds which appear to be outstanding value for money. Thanks in advance
  4. Hi there, I want to post on the sub forum "pub" for some chit chat, but I cannot find the access to the sub forum. Any guidance will be appreciated, thanks
  5. The education department announced that many teenagers are stressed out from online learning. Perhaps they probably have to concentrate more with on line. Maybe class time with easier stress lowering distractions, opposite sex and phones seems to be the normal stress level?? Although from recent observations a teenage relative has multiple windows open, with on line learning going second fiddle to gaming and phone texting. When having to complete written homework the answers are dictated whilst every minute or so stops to massage the hand from cramps. What stress!!! A younger family member however thoroughly enjoys the on line schooling with great enthusiasm.
  6. My daughter has a problem in her condo with washing machine and hotplate. She cannot use as the casings to both appliances are live. Could anyone kindly suggest a competent local electrician in jomtien area please? Thanks in advance
  7. Excellent coverage of UK TV. I've subscribed for 3 years
  8. Is the sinovac as first jab, then AZ or Pfizer as second jab going to be acceptable when trying to re-enter UK, or will there be a need for booster. Does anyone know please?
  9. Thank you guys for your help. Having tried several atm,s I will visit the bank with passport option, rather than possibly losing my card.
  10. I've used my UK issued cards in ATMs over here without trouble for years. Over the last week I noticed processing stops because of "incomplete data" or the transaction stops at the last hurdle for a couple of minutes before giving a time out message. Checked with UK and cards are good. Has anyone else noticed issues with ATMs or tied to get cash advance in a bank while showing passport and mastercard?
  11. Thanks Doctor Tom, I wondered about reapplying online to see if it might make any improvements. But with issues with staff in same IO I bet it would be wasted airtime
  12. Recently completed my online 90 day for first time, instead of personally visiting the office because of covid restrictions. Lived in nonthaburi residence for many years and last visit to office was June 2021. 90 day now due so complete online form, get pending notice. Eventually get rejected "need to notify nonthaburi of residence before applying online" was reason. Surely the June visit address was enough notice before applying online. I note the online instructions suggested site issues and may need to phone local office, ie nonthaburi. Anyone had any similar issues ?
