  1. Potholes appearing on new roads or recently resurfaced roads point to a failure of quality or care. If you cannot get newly laid black top to stay in place what hope for other design & engineering issues - none. I see more & more concrete roads being constructed.
  2. "after the enlightened ones open the gates,7 eleven Tesco will have live concerts outside, beer will flow" I agree it will be a mental party & take off fast with sky high prices.
  3. So logically you will need to be self insured. Or have a home country GOV reciprocated Health Agreement in place with your host country. In any case best to have funds or assets available to go private if the need arises.
  4. RE: #1. I'm at a complete loss why an expat staying by reason of marriage has to only have 400k in the bank, when he has a wife and quite possibly kids to provide for, and why an expat on a retirement visa/extensions has to have 800k in the bank, when he/she is more than likely single with only himself/herself to provide for. I fail to see any logic in this. Agreed - no logic - just a simplistic requirement to try to guarantee long stay visa holders have substantial financial means in country. Neither the 400K or 800K (which started out as an alternative to claiming minimum monthly income) will ever get spent because to do so will invalidate your long stay visa immediately and that would be unfortunate to put it mildly.
  5. Well they might loose their next election but not their inflated Gov pension I expect.
  6. Civic has a large boot, holds the road well, fine on long journeys however is quite low so not idea if fully loaded around the waist line - male or female !!!! If planning a family and living in a big city a mid size SUV would be the way to go. Once you go past 3 kids you are looking at an MPV ( 3 kids equates to 2 kids & granny).

  8. Yes - the AZ rep in Thailand needs to be more forthcoming on the plants current production capacity it being of public interest - maybe he is sworn to secrecy. Note it also produces AZ in S.Korea so I wonder how the production capacity compares.
  9. Re: "The antibody response is higher when waiting 12 weeks instead of 8 weeks," That is what I understand to be the case too.
  10. Yes. https://dashboard-vaccine.moph.go.th That info is available on the Thai Health Services LINE account. Try searching "covid-19 vaccination info graphic" MOPH - Immunization center (IC).

  12. The total today reported as 414,066. Got to wonder how many more frontline health workers are still to receive their third jab it being with AZ and is Pfizer to be their fourth jab?
  13. What is a Big Bike Licence in Thailand? When do you need a Big Bike Licence in Thailand? Is the requirement based on a capacity of 400cc and above?
