Or where you're prepared to travel to, if one isn't available locally.
We will be based outside Brighton but after the quarantine we can travel wherever

I think after 5 days she can pay to do another test to potentially end home quarantine early, doing the 'Test to release' option.
Check this link: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-test-to-release-for-international-travel
As for getting vaccinated in the UK - it should be no problem at all. Check this out: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/visiting-or-moving-to-england/visitors-from-outside-the-european-economic-area-eea/But to be fully vaccinated she will need to obviously remain in UK until she get the 2nd dose (time between doses will depend on vaccine). And then wait 14 days after 2nd dose before being considered fully vaccinated.
Good luckThank you. Most helpful

Get vaccinated.
She can only be vaccinated with a Chinese vaccine here which is not acceptable in the UK

As of Monday 11th - Thailand was no longer on the UK Red lost.
Your Wife can travel to the UK but has to quarantine at your home (or place you are staying) for 10 days.
There also some other requirements
- Pre-flight PCR
- Pre-flight Passenger locator form
- Book (and take) Arrival Day 2 and Day 8 PCR tests (try Randox.com)
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to-england-from-another-country-during-coronavirus-covid-19
Thank you. I am aware of that but I am hoping when she is there she can get vaccinated. D you have any knowledge of how she can do that?

Have any of you who received an approved notice via e-mail received further instructions? I've been watching my e-mail and SMS like a hawk but no joy.
It’s now Friday the 13th. I registered on Sunday was accepted but I have heard nothing since. I am over 70 living in Hua Hin

I'm so glad I didn't wait for these bozos to act.
I get my second shot in Arizona tomorrow.
That’s what I am thinking of doing since I have family in Arizona. Are you staying there now or did you fly there especially to get the jabs?

transferwise dude, it's cheap, and done in 30sec in weekdays, 48h over the week-end
might have to start with 1,000 EUR transfer first, big transfer might be blocked. Do 1,000 every days over 2 months.
I use Transfer Wise from England and regularly transfer £5000. I don’t know if they have a limit. First time of using I transferred £1000 to be sure it was safe. You will have to indicate what the money is for with general headings given to help you

From where I live to where I drive at night is a fast 4 lane road with many bikes with no rear lights. What is it about these riders that they want to endanger themselves and me for the cost of a rear bulb?
I wonder if the riders ever check their lights and know that they are not working

I am surprised that the tea consumed is not Earl Grey tea. Expensive to buy here in Thailand but its what I have always enjoyed. When I was working it was at least 6 cups a day now I am retired its only 3 cups and often with a ginger biscuit.
I am sure the embassy employs many Thai people so was the figure quoted based on all staff including Thais or just the British staff?

At my age and stage of life I will go back to the UK sometime soon. I love it here and have been here on and off for 20 years. The people the food and the weather are all wonderful. Back in England I would get a big increase on my pension payments (almost double) be covered health wise for free and go visit family friends and places I have not seen for many years. Having said that if I was younger and had to go somewhere other than Thailand it would be Arizona in the USA or Antiqua

All of it, it's for a party on Boxing Day.
Well if you are having a party for at least 10 people then the 4,000 baht is ok For me we are two people and so a turkey would be wasted even if some was used for cold sandwich or salad and some for a curry

Through the normal mail system or even by "signed for" if you want to track it.
I have used ordinary post from England for both parcels and letters. They have never arrived!! The only way to be sure is registered post or DHL

Send it to Pattaya. Mabrachan still at 30% capacity and municipal water is like a little boy peeing.
It'll probably be a light breeze and couple of clouds, no rain.
You sound like a Manchester man lol

This creates a bad impression and damages the image of Thailand and rightly so.
If only all these news articles on Thailand road deaths could be the start of action to reduce the carnage.
Starting with the police doing their job.
All non licence drivers and riders will have no insurance. All riders without helmets and 3 or 4 on the bike again no insurance. All vehicles ignoring traffic rules and signs.
Arrest and charge them all and impound their vehicles
No bribes no tea money just do the job It would soon improve the roads.
