Im planning on heading back to the U.k., Need to get some stuff sorted out there.
Has anyone flown back recently?
And who did you fly with?
I see KLM, qatar, etihad , lufthansa and finnair.
I was thinking of using KLM.
Is there any procedures i need to follow before i fly? Do i need any health certificates to transfer through the airports before i get to the U.k?
Thanks

Who in their right mind would do this?
Not many, I believe they will be getting people to test this out by offereing cheap rates or cheap packages. Then they will announce how much of success it has been.
After that probably no one will come.????

I wonder what kind of " Tourists " would even want to visit a Thai Prison. My guess is that there are some really perverse individuals that would relish seeing the suffering inflicted in these places.
It certainly would not be on top of my list of must see destinations in Thailand.
The Prisons will almost certainly be Covid " Hotspots " in the future, due to the rampant overcrowding and lack of basic hygiene needs in most.
The chinese would be up for this, if you have seen how they behave in theme parks, zoo's, swimming pools, tourist attractions in general.

As the title says, i havent lived in the UK for quite a few years now.
My old accounts there where closed.
Im now in need of opening one.
Are there any that dont require a UK address? I dont mind if they are online only, or even if they dont give you a card.
I just need one so a former company i worked for will pay me. They will not transfer the money abroad.
Thanks

Its highly unlikely they would be made to do 14 day quarantine.

There is no waiver of the one 60 day extension rule per entry to the country.
If you did not apply for a 30 day extension of your 30 day visa exempt entry you should able to apply for it.
I think the UK embassy will start doing the letters again after immigration informs them they are needed.
Thank you @ubonjoe

Just had a bit of a senior moment. reading your subject title, for some reason, and just for a fleeting moment, I thought that you had a disappointing result from a penis extension and was looking for medical advice on repeating the surgery. Sorry, off topic I know. I will go lie down for a while.
I already had that done, and yes it was dissapointing.????

Hello All,
Just a question about attempting another extension.
I arrived in march visa exempt, which i then extended for 2 months at the end of march for visiting my kids.
Im not married, im wondering if i could apply again for another extension. I know this is usually not possible. But given the situation at the moment, is it worth a shot?
Or should i wait until september to see if another amnesty will be given / make plans to exit Thailand?
I know the british embassy will not give extension letters anymore, so im screwed really, i beleive.

Its the exact same amnesty as the last one, immigration or who ever is just trying to put a spin on it.
Nothing is different between this one or the last one.
Any way its not up to immigration to decide what happens, its down to the government.

If you put as much effort into obtaining an extension of stay (retirement or marriage) that you put into constructing your reply to me then you would be fine. Getting a single or multi Non O and then extending or leaving the country to get another 90 days, is in my opinion playing the system. An extension of stay or a Non OA visa is the correct visa for a long stay in Thailand along with the OX and the Elite anything else is a work around that I wouldnt be suprised gets closed in the future.
Some people cant afford to show the funds, either 400k or 40k, some people leave thailand quite often and go for breaks in neighbouring countries with their wives, some people work offshore and require this visa, There is nothing wrong with having a multiple entry.
Alot of people just dont want a year extension of stay. I dont see why its playing the system. It isnt.
