Thinking the OP exits prior to window for obtaining 12 month extension.

If it was not his first extension he could provide evidence of applying early.

He needs to season his funds in bank so guessing applying early is not an option.

Re the 21 days that you mention for CM.....that is about applying for Non O.

    He already has that

In the OP's next to last sentence he asked abut doing his extension in November, so it seems he does not need to leave immediately and can apply within the normal time window.  Thanks for the clarification on the 21 days in CM.

  2. You can apply for your 1 year extension of stay 30 days early (some immigration offices allow 45 days and I believe Chiang Mai  it is 21 days).  So you can apply any time from early November and depending again on the immigration office you will apply at, you will get the extension either that same day or the next day or so.  You should then apply for a re-entry permit that will allow you to travel and preserve your extension of stay date.

Nolvadex you can only get legal trough hospitals here as far I know,  unless you use UGL products.  I guess you need it for a cycle?

No experience with any of their products.

Thank you that is what I am looking for.  Actually it is prescribed for me by an Indian doctor as part of a Peyronees treatment protocol which includes Testosterone.

OP, you could do a border bounce if required.

    Inconvenient.

I just completed an eVisa to Vietnam so I will certainly check the details when it's approved..

Wise move Dr. Jack, last time I did an e-visa to Viet Nam, I mistyped my passport number by one digit, got to the airport to check in and was told could not use that visa as the passport numbers did not match.  I had to scramble to find a company that would provide me with what I needed via a visa on arrival, they even had someone at the airport who did the visa application process for me when I landed.  Cost me $125 for that one typo.

  5. I used the combination method 2 years ago in Hua Hin and have since changed to doing  monthly transfers as I needed the money in the bank for a surgery I needed.  If I remember correctly I needed to have 400k in the bank with the balance coming from monthly transfers so it was not possible for instance to have 200k in the bank and monthly transfers totally 600k.  It would be best to go and talk to someone at immigration to see what is currently required.

The balcony was 40m2 if I remember right with outside kitchen, and a small tea kitchen inside. One room with a folding door seperating dining room and t beedroom. One of the front right ones, where you could look down on the neighbour balcony.

I have not seen one like that, being at the front would definitely have issues with the street noise.  I looked at a unit near the front and did not like being that close to the main road.

I almost bought one of the top studios facing the sea 8 years ago, but to much traffic noise for my taste, and I guess a new contract there should be easy to push the prices further down by now.

How the maintenance been inside the last years? Elevater, hallways, and the pool? I doubt they have done much since last time I looked at an apartment there 5 years ago.

Same standard studio or better you get for less than 10k in Jomtien now.

I believe the rent of the studio I looked at 80m2 included the balcony was 26k 5 years ago at Condochain.

I believe the pool was turned into a saltwater pool, but later changed back to normal water.  At 80m2 that would be a 2 bedroom unit not a studio.  Studios here go for 8-12k I think depending on how they are designed.  BTW, I am actually thinking of moving to Jomtien, will spend June there to see if I like it or not.

  8. I am in Hua Hin and will be moving out once I find someone to rent the condo I am in.  It might be a little out of your price range depending on how firm you are on 15k.  My unit is 60 sq mt with three balconies all with full or partial ocean view.  The condo is called Condochain, one of the older condos in Hua Hin  which is why you have the larger size.  I am not sure what the rent would be for long term, when I moved in it was 20k for 1 month and less for full year contract, I am currently on a discounted rate due to covid so that would not apply to anyone moving in now.  I had internet installed by True so you would be able to do the same.  7-11 is about 60 meters away and the condo is almost at the halfway point between Market Village and Bluport malls (approx 700-900 meters each way) and very close to Bangkok Hua Hin Hospital and on the baht bus route.  Also has a swimming pool.  Are you in Thailand now?  Let me know if you would like to take a look or want more information.

  9. I moved to a new condo in Hua Hin last year and was told the condo office would do the TM30, they did not.  I went to do my 90 day report (at Bluport Immigration office) and she asked where my TM30 was and I said I thought the condo office had done it.  She then created a TM30 for me and stapled it into my passport and processed my 90 day report.  So I would say, yes they do require it at some point.  Others will be along that can tell you how to submit the TM30 yourself.

i read on another forum that a guy made two identical TP applications with his two passport no's (being a dual citizen). he received a QR Code for app'n A but had app'n B refused on insurance query.

    TIT!

Could it be that the insurance paperwork included his passport number, therefore it would not match on one of the applications?

    Province: Chiang Mai

    Date: 6 July 2021

    Location Hyatt Regency Hotel, Guam

Are you over 60/chronically ill? (Yes/No) Yes

How did you register? Attempted to get an appointment various ways in Chiang Mai: Big C; Wall of Chiang Mai; volunteer group collecting interest in Moderna vaccine

    Vaccination received (yes/no) YES

If yes,  Type of vaccine : Johnson & Johnson

    If no, Reason not vaccinated:

Hubby and I don't have yellow book/pink card, yet we are over age 65 and have at least one "chronically ill" problem each. After emailing the CM Health Department and asking when we would receiving a date for an appointment, I received a reply that there are Thai people still waiting to be vaccinated.  When I asked for clarification if this means that Thai people have priority over foreigners of older age and higher health risk, they responded "yes".  That was the final straw.

I forwarded this reply to the U.S. Consulate and Embassy and amazingly had phone calls from both the Acting Ambassador and Consul General.  Based on these phone calls and the risk of the Delta variant in Thailand, I decided it was time to act on my own.  I am now in Guam.  Pleasantly waiting for 14 days to pass until I can return to Thailand.  Guam just reopened the country to anyone who tested negative before entering.  No need to quarantine.  It's a beautiful island.  The entire island is duty-free.  Americans, come here and get your vaccine for free, your choice of vaccine, at the local mall.  Others, there is a nominal charge.

When I return, Hubby will come to Guam.  Someone had to stay home to take care of the cats.

NancyL can you let us know about your experience getting a COE.  Thailand seems to be shifting to Sinovac then AZ for vaccinations and if that is true for my appointment in August I would very much consider going to Guam for my vaccination (U.S. citizen).  I went to the COE website and Guam was not in the list of countries to choose so am curious if you have to go through one of the Embassy's in the U.S..

thats exactly what i was looking for Scott(ie the cost of an MRI guided biopsy ar Siriraj) thanks for that

that's a third of the cost of Bumrungrad/Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin

The problem, as Sheryl pointed out is contacting them....

-Ive filled out the online contact form(no response )

    - i ve rung about 4 numbers on website. All seem to be personal mobiles and as soon as i start talking English they hang up!

    - ive even had a friendly nurse from another hospital ring for me and she just cannot get a response

So, please tel me how did you get in contact with Siriraj hosptital to get your MRI biopsy??!!

    thanks

ps and naturally hope youre well

I had to go there in person to make the appointment.  I actually saw my doctor at Thonburi Hospital (private but not too expensive) where I was able to make an online appointment.  After seeing him I went to Siriraj the next day to the Urology department on the 3rd floor to register and asked to make an appointment to see him there.  Got an appointment a couple of weeks later if I remember correctly to review the MRI results I brought with me (the IT dept has to load it into the system).  It was kind of a pain but it worked out ok.

I was just there Tuesday night and it was like a ghost town, got there 45 minutes early and I was the only one in the Urology department where my doctor is.  I am seeing Dr. Sittiporn, but there is at least one other urlogist there as well.  You will need to go to the new Out Patient Department.  google maps location 13.756827527693396, 100.4837237714864  It is a big campus and easy to go to the wrong location.

Looking at my appointment slip there is an email and phone number you might try first, if you did not try them already.  Tel: 0-2419-9801, email: [email protected].   I would recommend having a Thai person call or go with you when you are able to make an appointment.

Tell them you want to make an appointment for a consultation with a urologist.

    Hope this helps

P.S. If you want to meet up for lunch sometime let me know.

  13. I had an MRI last year in Hua Hin at Hua Hin Hospital, cost was 11k.  The MRI showed two legions.  I chose to get treated in Bangkok and went to Siriraj Hospital at Sheryl's recommendation.  I was able to get a CD with the MRI results from Hua Hin Hospital and take that to the doctor in Bangkok.  After reading the MRI results he suggested an MRI guided prostate biopsy.  Anyway the Biopsy was done not only on the areas pinpointed by the MRI but throughout the prostate as well.  I believe the total cost including an overnight stay at the Hospital was around 56k baht.

if you click on map it does not list 17  the nationality/ breakdown   and whereabouts' of these cases at all surely if correct these should be informed to the public as before  what does below actually mean

    Prachuap Khiri Khan
The rate on disease occurrence within 14 days = 0 (out of 17 )
The average disease that accurrence within 14 days is 0.00% and 0.28% occured in Thailand.
The average ages is 51 years, the patients could be 0 Thais and 17 are foreigners.
All Covid-19 patients could be 10 males, 7 females and 0 not specified.

The chart lists 17 for PKK, I guess that must be the total since the outbreak and not just in the last two weeks.  17 seems low for this area since the outbreak.

  16. I have seen a few small ones washed up on the shore as I walk along the beach the last two weeks, then last week I got stung on my belly and right hand.  I watched the waters as I walked out to deeper water and never saw it, but as soon as I stopped and turned around it floated up into my belly.  I would be very careful, though there were others in the water without problems.  I was at the area of Condochain where I live.
