This makes no sense at all, unless of course the quarantine is a financial ploy to put money in someone's pocket.
Why close the country off, yet allow 10,000's of protesters face to face?
great question....who is going to answer it ???

Another knee-jerk reaction to a problem that does not actually exist, from people with no expertise in the area.
what did you expect ??? where are you ????

I was doing my 90 day reporting during the amnesty because I didn't want to get caught up in the crowds once all the amnesty expired. Jomtien let people report during the amnesty period.

For my complex the maintenance, security, insect abatement, and trash are on 6 month contracts. Add in the Juristic manager, and the three office workers salaries that are static fee's as they also know what the cost is there and they can bill every 6 months accordingly. Any Maintenance long term repairs are discussed at the quarterly meeting and then pushed out as a separate bill should the Condo fund need money and it was in excess of what was budgeted at a prior meeting.
so can still say how much the yearly figure is.....

Thanks, that seems to be reasonably up-to-date and definite in what it's saying.
Odd date to hold a bikini race, though, lol, the same day as Loy Krathong and Halloween.
BECAUSE it was (the bikini race) cancelled some weeks/months ago....NO ONE EVER CHECKED THE CALLENDAR.....hence race is now when it is going to be along with Loi Krathong, which is on the day/date that it is suppose to be !!!!

This must surely be a very shoddy translation -- or else the figures won't make any sense at all.
60 ships with 650 people on board, or just under 10 people per vessel on average? Or does this perhaps mean 60 ships, EACH of them having 650 people on board?
And then these 650 people generate up to 2.1 billion baht, or about 32.3 million per person? Wildly inconceivable. Yes, if it were 60 ships with 650 passengers EACH, that would of course come down to a more reasonable 53,000 or so per person.
And which cruise ship exactly is normally docking in a single port for 14 days? Or do passengers already begin their quarantine while still being on the high seas?
great comments/post.....i could not get the figures to add up neither.......

I have a flight booked from Chiang Mai to Krabi and return over 3 to 10 November.
This topic is connected with Covid 19 as it relates to Air Asia's assertion that 3 hours check in time both in Chiang Mai and Krabi is required to "complete the necessary processes". Their website shows good information about how they are dealing with the problem but it seems to me they will only check my temperature that tells me from 7 months of experience will take less than 5 seconds.
The website also indicates that check in can be done online so their reason (no real explanation) is that 3 hours will "avoid unnecessary delay at Check in" which of course will not apply if checking in is online and printing out a boarding pass.
Both my Thai wife and I have attempted to contact Air Asia that has been completely fruitless; their chat line is only manned - haha - by a robot that doesn't understand in either Thai or English and no chance of talking with a human.
I would appreciate if anyone has travelled domestically with Air Asia recently and has been able to by-pass a three hour check in by successfully checking in online.
Thank you for your assistance
i always thort domestic chk in times WAS 2 hours????

I have a question about CoR.
I was at IO 2 days ago to make my ED visa extension and after that went to officer to ask what documents do I need for CoR. Officer (non Thai) told me that I must have registered address and to my question how to make it, he told me I should have one already if I`m living in Thailand. About all the copies everything is clear, but about registered address I`m a bit confused. Could some one can tell me what exact papers should I need to get that CoR? I will go back to IO next monday, but don`t want to waste another day if all the paperwork is not in order.
i took utility bills with me, and a bank statement from Uk as proof of address
