PR for public image that will not change anyone's opinion to a positive seeing him honest.. Now if he loves the US so much and makes a 10 year cheap maybe USD 1000 visa to allow USA expats married to Thai or USA expat family members of Thai or USA expats having Thai children or USA expats who retire here without having the 90 day or TM feel like a criminal follow ups, then I might change my opinion of him and his crew. So what are the chances of that?

And not only Americans. What about Ozzie and uk people??

Which particular laws? Smoking in his own home.

The wording and legal references would be useful to others in this position.

smoking in a public place....the smoke drifts into corridors....they are classed as a public place....

    OK

I thought the post was about smoking in condos not ones own home!!!

I'm afraid your best solution will be, move!

He's not breaking any laws or condo bylaws so you're going to have to go "public nuisance" which is going to need the support of other condo dwellers. Have you gathered opinion from your other neighbours?

A thought, rather than trying for a non-smoking building, how about a condo rule that requires all unit doors to be closed at all times (for fire safety reasons)?

he IS breaking laws......I spoke to a good lawyer on this subject last Sept 2018.....

What the elderly in Thailand need is a social security system that doesn't put the burden of support on their children. Another archaic tradition that needs to go. Please don't tell me the monthly pittance they're given now counts as that. My son back home does not support me and he will never have to.

    i think a a person over 60 receives 500 or 600 baht per month....small money to live on !!!

look the timetable has been the same as long as I remember....2006 when i came and, i think, the ticket costs 39 baht now......
