Put some pads under your armpits to avoid that.
Baking soda removes smell but not strains it seems.
I fixed the problem by wearing all black since the funerals, and it's great to be always ready for any next funerals !

I have bought lenses many times over the last 20 years from a well known chain. The spec has always been the same, glass, varifocal & photochromatic with price usually around 4000 baht, not much variation over the years. I usually went to the same shop in Mikes Mall in Pattaya, found the staff very efficient ,spoke good English and usually dealt with problems there and then, if not within days.
Last time I needed a new pair, couple of years ago, my wife took me to a small shop they knew on the outskirts of Bangkok. There I got the same spec of lenses for about 1500 baht, and have had no complaints. No English spoken so trying to use the same outlets as the Thais could be problematic.
Last pair I bought in the UK, over 20 years now, was from Specsavers and cost over £200. When I tried them on things were a bit fuzzy but doctor said it was normal for varifocal and eyes would adjust. Never did and they gave me a headache, bit of an argument with Specsavers but eventually got my money back, they tried to force another prescription.
No harm in shopping around for information, but at the end of the day it is up to each individual to decide what they consider worth paying for their lenses.
You have been cheated 20 years...

hello,
I already have glasses and just want to change the lenses. It seems that it cost at least 2000 (and maybe 3000) even at Owndays which is supposed to be a cheap optical shop. Some other shops want 5000 !!!
Can you tell me where you have bought cheap glasses or replacement lenses around Pattaya, and how much you paid ?
Thanks a lot.

Sorry but I disagree with you closing this other topic which is about lenses in general and posted in General forum, not pattaya, please open it has no reason to be closed by anyone.

hello,
To change the lenses of my eyeglasses it seems that it cost from 2000 to 5000 depending on the quality and specs of lenses.
Can you tell me if you have found cheaper or if prices are similar everywhere ? This is so expensive for Thailand.
And are the ones from Zenni optical online shop as good ? For a lot cheaper ?
Thank you for your feedback.

Pellet gun/ air rifle...pigeons are smarter than plastic owls, Hawks or rubber snakes. Once they have found a roosting spot they won't leave unless it is dangerous to stay where they are. If you are an animal lover you don't have to shoot them but instead just make life unbearable and they will go somewhere else, or shoot them if you want a quicker result lol
I am an animal lover but have no pity to shoot there air rats that shit everywhere !

There is nothing else to think about but fly to Cambodia and then take a flight to Thailand, so in case they deny you entry, you are sent back to Cambodia, not US or EU.

I always did salad bar only in States as it included chicken legs and wings, and had spaghetti with two kinds of sauce. What are you supposed to put on that spaghetti here? Mushroom soup?
Only cheese is enough.
And they also have some tomato sauce.

Do you order a beverage or do you just drink the salad dressing?
I do not drink when I eat.
And yes OP, what else do you want to eat there ? Only salad bar is worth the price !
I always only order salad, but will it be 139 forever ?

this is not thailand elite's fault
this is the mistake of immigration for processing a 90 day report without a valid visa extension.
The service you requested from thai elite would be 90 day reporting which they did from your post but immigration didnt flag the extension was over after 1 year is up.
When i processed my 90 day report before my new extension immigration told me to get the extension first then come back to the desk for the 90 day report.
So how you were able to get 1-2 90 day report without a valid extendion is crazy and a worry if YOU dont check as well
This is the way people care about their job in this country.
And anyway, why would the OP be on overstay when he has a 5 years valid visa ?! It should not be called overstay.
I wish you the best and hope that you blame all these idiots, elite and immigrat.

Don't take the risk, fly to Cambodia then 1000 thb flight to Thailand, so in case of problem they will send you back to Cambodia, but because they know that it's not a big deal for you to go back to Cambodia, they won't deny you entry in Thailand. Trust me, these people are not smart and some REALLY want to make problems, so don't give them a chance to be beheaded.

Apply for a B-visa about 285 USD and you can come and go as much as you like for 12 months. Do this through an agent in PP or SR as the Thai Embassy is as friendly as a rattle snake to farangs.
More difficult to extend now it seems...

The basic answer is no. You will need to be working with a work permit and paying taxes for 3 years on extension of stay,
If married to a Thai you can apply for citizenship without having permanent residency but you still have to be working and paying taxes for 3 years.
This forum is so lucky to have you. Thank you.

How many workers does it take to do a job in your home country ? Multiply your answer by a factor of 3 or 4x, then you will know how many Thai workers are needed to do the same job.
Salaries ? Take the salary for a given job in your home country, divide it by 3 or 4, and you will have the salary for that job in Thailand. Most of them earn B7000 - B 15,000/mo., and I wouldn't pay them 1 satang more than that.
Nobody earns less than 9000 in Thailand.
And yes, they do not deserve more, because even paid 4x more, they would not work or be 1% smarter.

And how old is your wife ?

I was a big wine drinker in oz but over here I prefer to put Vodka in grape juice, same color. They can shove their wine tax!
If only all farang would stop visiting the wine section things may one day in 5 years or so start to get real.
I am with you, but Rum, and I don't eat with wine anymore, so it means less alcohol.
Thank you stupid retarded government.

Any fool who does drugs shows a complete lack of judgement and self respect . Anyone who does drugs in Thailand is a complete moron and deserves the stiffest punishment going .
You also deserve the worst for posting this.
How ridiculous can be people in 2018 when drug war is lost and all drugs will be legal sooner or later.
