  1. Maybe Biden hasn't read the 'Art of Deal' as you have. This playbook doesn't seem to be helping the author with his problems at the moment though.
  2. It seems that some EU members aren't too happy about the EU condition to Turkey agreeing to Sweden joining NATO. Democracy is part of the EU's requirement and Erdogan seems to be a bit too autocratic since his 2016 purges. Nevertheless Biden has a card up his sleeve with his F-16 deal to Ankara which is based on agreement to Sweden's ascension to NATO. From the OP: 'Earlier on Monday, President Erdogan had also appeared to link Turkish support for Sweden's Nato bid to the EU re-opening frozen membership talks with Ankara. 'EU officials were quick to reject the demand, saying those were two separate issues.' 'But in a statement after the deal was announced, Nato said Sweden would actively support efforts to 'reinvigorate Turkey's EU accession process'. 3. 'Most people'? I suggest, that there are many geographical, political, cultural and aspirational trade aspects to these divisions and any clear cut answer is not really possible.
  4. Russia and Turkey are also in Eastern Europe. Turkey may even have a stronger military than Poland. Poland vs Turkey | Comparison military strength (armedforces.eu)
  5. Obviously Erdogan is going all out 'on openness to work with others' and to possibly alienate his mate Putin. Turkey to back Sweden's NATO bid in return for EU membership: Erdogan (msn.com)
  6. I must admit trying to keep an open mind on Biden's suitability as POTUS can be difficult on this forum. The comments here driven by Fox News propaganda can sometimes create some doubt in even the most critical thinkers. I watched the full Fareed Zakaria/Joe Biden last night and I was impressed with Joe Biden's performance in explaining his position on Ukraine, China and Israel. It was obvious that he has a firm grasp on US Foreign Relations and provided a logical, balanced well-considered and sensible approach to all of these issues without the usual egoistic rhetoric seen from others. His decades of experience as a statesmen shone through and there is no doubt that the White House in good hands.
  7. Ukraine marks 500 days of war by admitting it blew up Russia's bridge to Crimea last year....... Ukraine Admits Blowing up Russia's Bridge to Crimea (businessinsider.com) and they are still trying!
  8. The West supported Russia during WWI, the 1921 Great Famine and WW2 with billions worth of aid with little recognition. As Putin has used Russia's single-handed great victory over the Germans to promote the war on Ukraine, I suggest that the West help them as little as possible.
  9. How can your post can be anything but echoing the usual FOX NEWS rhetoric demonising Biden that it feeds its viewers on an hourly basis.
  10. Seems like it's almost a done deal....... What are the cluster munitions the US is expected to supply Ukraine? | CNN
  11. It could have been impassioned junior! Don Jr. Swears He’s Not on Coke—He’s Just ‘Impassioned’ (thedailybeast.com)
  12. Yet, Biden's took over from a dystopian administration which pushed a political agenda to address a public health emergency. Trump GOP politics made the USA a pariah with a disproportionate amount of deaths from COVID as compared to other first world countries. Based on statistics from other countries that had a more sensible approach similar to Biden's, possibly hundreds of thousands of US lives were unnecessarily lost during Trump's time in the WH. The bottom line is that COVID was a worldwide emergency and required action that did impinge of some freedom as most emergencies do. IMHO, most of the world's population were thankful of their government's firm positive approach.
  13. Someone earlier posted 'assault weapons....account for a very small number of gun deaths in the US'. Therefore the weapon more than likely must have been the hand gun or the police scanner that caused the casualties. From your link.... 'The suspected attacker, a 40-year-old man who is now in custody, was carrying an AR-15-style rifle, a handgun, a police scanner and ammunition'.
  14. I suggest that the OP headline is not necessarily the concern around the world. Interesting poll from Pew Centre Research on current International views of Biden...... International Views of Biden and U.S. Largely Positive 'In the third year of his presidency, U.S. President Joe Biden receives mostly positive reviews from publics around the world' after 'a decline in America’s global image during Donald Trump’s presidency and a rebound in ratings for the U.S. following the election of Joe Biden' in some countries. International Views of Biden and U.S. Largely Positive | Pew Research Center
  15. You are right as usual. The only logical thing to do would be to ban all knives and fists and mass shootings.
  16. Perhaps the OP is DeSantis' tit for tat revenge for the recent Trump ad from MAGA.
  17. With respect, I suggest I wouldn't be criticising and offering advice without properly reading my post and the attached link just to demonise Joe Biden. I also suggest that the possession of a gun in most cases is non-existential, whereas personal transport is usually a necessary part of life. Also Australia this year had 12 times less gun deaths than US and doesn't have a right to bear arms in its constitution and has a government that makes laws to support the population's Human Rights Against Gun Violence.
  18. Only 3 third world countries support a constitution with the right to bear arms and one of them is the US. Only 3 Countries Protect the Right to Bear Arms in Their Constitutions (businessinsider.com)
  19. Your link is to a source as questionable as the OP. The only people saying 'Monsters' are Republicans including Scott Jennings who is the token conservative antagonist on CNN, only there to provide a 'balance' of opinions. Can 'you' point to where the NYT report says 'Monsters' or 'damning'?
  20. Yet, Ezekiel 18/20 says 'Neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son'.
  21. I would suggest that Opsardex is virtually the same as DexOph. 'Dex' indicates dexamethasone which is a corticosteroid. I used to swim daily and used earplugs or 50/50 alcohol/vinegar drops and never had swimmer's ear for over 30 years after my first episode.
  22. There is nothing in the OP to support the statement about 'Monsters' and The NYT Report is not a 'damning' report. Previously Fox tied itself into knots when a comedian commented about Barron Trump because of the given tenet that minor children should be off limits. Hannity blamed the Dems for this and said it was a line even he would not that cross. This article is Fox's usual gutter politics trying to demonising Joe Biden, without any facts.
  23. The decision seems like a solution looking for problem. What I found particularly poignant in a similar article was this protesters sign. 'THERE'S NO HATE LIKE CHRISTIAN LOVE' Gay couple cited by Christian web designer who won Supreme Court case may not exist (yahoo.com)
