  1. Also happened to me and my Thai wife in Pattaya. It was a condo paid to booking in January this year. Also had to find emergency accommodation in peak season late in the afternoon. Thank god we did. Booking.com did refund our payment. Must be a common occurrence when it comes to booking a condo! Booking. com should take a closer look at condo owners, and if the owners actually own the condo you book?
  2. The RTP Superiors must think all the people, being Thai and Farlang, who read this repeat press verbal garbage statement, year after year, believe it will be done and enforced by the RTP. Well unless you have an IQ of 40, we all know it will not happen. I believe what the Police General Kraibhun Trawadsong, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, is saying, " with regards to increase in fines, that only applies to farlangs as we need more tea money for me and my hard working (oops slack working) RTP. It does not apply to Thais as they will not pay or cannot afford the steep fines, especially the school children.
  3. I think it's a ruse to entice Red Bull back to Thailand so they can arrest him and start the envelopes flowing again.
  4. I feel very sorry for the restaurant owner. At least they did not do their job whilst open and in front of diners. Put anyone off their food. Solution please Mayor of Pattaya pull your finger out and build public toilets at least where the tourist areas are. Oh, as far as being a clean pristine tourist friendly city its a sh..t hole and by the way Mr mayor at least start on the beach road where every one has been doing it in the water or on the sand when the desire or need to do so is human.
  5. As a human he makes me sick. More like a cockroach.
  6. Wow, that's a biased comment. Why not ban all Chinese they only defecate on streets anyway, pee at Buddha temples and have no idea how to line up in a queue like most civilised people. Beside that their tourist numbers are diminishing anyway so less to ban😁.
  7. It mainly only works In Thailand. In any, if not most farlang countries, you would end up in jail and whatever you own in assets would not allow you to buy your way out of your crime committed when convicted.
  8. Well forget about her plan to come back and bribe all so she can do what Thaksin, did. She better learn a new language, especially in whatever country she is living and happy with now. Great family hey, Broken up because of their GREED, There is Karma.
  9. She's in deep sh..t! Simple. Case solved as Peter Sellers once said. All these detailed comments are a waste of time!
  10. Your right. I did not read clamping down on beachfront. But I still like the term, Bang -kok😁
  11. Police Clamp Down on Prostitution to Protect Pattaya’s Image The title of this article sums up the RTP and politicians repeat bull..t. They state this ever year to try to cover up the reality so they can take bribes from operational brothels and individual prostitutes. Why do they bother? The world knows it's a fact that Pattaya and other tourist areas have prostitutes. The RTP police know, the politicians know, the army knows and finally the Thai people know. Who else are these officials trying to convince us that prostitution in Thailand does not openly exist? Mmmmm maybe their mothers! After all Thailand's capital is called "Bang" "Kok". That sums it up.
  12. Thailand political voting system at it's best. Will it change "No".
  13. I won't be coming to your place for a meal.🤪
  14. Does Thailand make wine? I googled this," Thailand produces wine, though it's a relatively young and small industry compared to established wine-producing regions. Often referred to as "New Latitude Wines," Thai wine production faces the challenge of its tropical climate." In short wine imports will only protect a SMALL industry thus my conclusion just an excuse to tax imports of wine, which I enjoy, and does not significantly affect the minute wine industry in Thailand. I do not know one Thai who are friends or my wifes family that drinks wine. They generally drink Thai whisky. Thus it's a tax on farang only.
  15. Only the duopoly companies complain with fake complaints so as to protect their massive profit industry and keep prices higher than what they should be. No ACCC (Australia) in Thailand!
