Bloody disgrace that poor people have to pay, yet those plonkers attempting to run this place can waste billions on war weapons.
Not only that the incompetence at its best took then 14 mths to list where to get tested and a ball park figure, next step one day will let us know where to get vaccine and a cost ,I could just imagine how many Covid cases there is in Thailand if testing was done on a regular basis since day one

They better check price of air fares to Australia first, then get the shock of how many Australians are allowed back in each day,the Eddie the experts or the keyboard warriors should do some homework on the subject before making unfounded comments, then don’t forget the $3,000(70,000 baht)cost for quarantine

And in a Bangkok Newspaper this Morning, ( Article - " Factory Staff to be monitored " )there was an article that was saying how expensive all the testing was becoming for the Government, and that cheaper ways had to be found to test all these people.
They have only been testing 10,000 per day at a published price between 2,000 -3,000 Baht per test, in the West, Countries are testing 10 times these numbers every Day.
Now the CCSAA are bitching about having to continue with 2000 tests per Day, saying a comprimise has to be sought between mass testing and costs.
I find this response by the Thai Authorities to the Covid situation far worse than any words I can put together
Would be a thought for Thai authorities to take a leaf out of Australia Covid vaccine plans they are planning to give the Covid vaccine to any body living in Australia including anyone on a visa inc Thais ,not only that but the jabs is free, we could only wish cuz nothing reciprocal is going to happen here

There were only "89 foreigners and 22 Thais" party goers according to the OP, 111 times 100 fee = 11,100 total according to my math's teacher. No profit was made by either the owner or the organizer with fines of 10,000 each.
Don’t you think that perhaps many of party goers had already left ,perhaps so

Kanchanaburi Province has had appalling air quality for weeks as the burning season is in full swing. Our local Phu Yai makes the occasional announcement to cease the crop burning but nobody takes a blind bit of notice and the Royal Thai Police appear to be totally blind as they fail to see the grey plumes of smoke from stubble burning, the black plumes of sugar cane ash or the orange glow all over from nocturnal fires. We've complained numerous times but are always met with 'very difficult, not easy to catch'.
You gotta be kidding ,just look into the distance and count how many large sugar cane fires , smoke billowing everywhere normally around 5pm in villages, easy to catch if they won’t to ,absolute disgrace authorities turn a blind eye to this procedure

So what.. why do you expect the Thai government to take care of you. You are not Thai. I don't mind paying a private hospital. Also GF her company is looking into getting the vaccine themselves they are a medical company. I don't see the problem of governments not taking care of non Thais.
We made choices when we came here.. why expect a government to take care of us. If you want that then go back to your home country. There you are being taken care of have more rights.Own country will want you vaccinated before letting you in MR

so what, my comment stands.
thank you.
The point is if they let the expats waiting to get back into Thailand,it would far outweigh the tourism numbers currently coming into Thailand, and let’s face it expats still spend money. Cheers

They going to get a big wake up call. No country in the world do you pay a tourist entry fee. Vietnam is going to make them suffer tourist wise.
Haven’t you seen price of 28 day visa On Arrival to enter Vietnam,no visa free entry there a lot more $ than 300 baht fee to enter Thailand

Australia is not even mentioned in the article!
Previously Australians don’t rank in the top 15 in numbers of tourists visiting Thailand ,so they would rate as a minority on that scale

So today's total of new cases is going to top 1,000 for the first time. Might even top 1,500 if it's been a bad day in the provinces.
Mr Prayut, this is not something to be proud of. Listen to your experts in the CCSA, for goodness sake. Get your finger out and fix it!
The whole world has got their finger out trying to fix it but it ain’t been fixed yet DR

I certainly hope that they do in fact have things under control, though I do find it worrying, even if they tell me I don't need to be. I recall how screwed up things were when there were cases all over the place and hope we can avoid that nastiness again.
We have been very fortunate thus far.
Would be a lockdown in Australia
