I've spent all day today boycotting Thailand. Will that do?
I'd like to help, but due to crime rates, treatment of pensoners etc. I'm currently boycotting the UK.

Fatties should have to sit next to one another.

Sky Bandits AKA Ryanair, are already considering a fat tax.

If you don't fancy the 10 hours on the bus to Ranong. You can fly to either Surat Thani or Phuket, then bus it. Or get the overnight train down to Chumpon. There is a regular mini bus between Chumpon and Ranong.

I'm having trouble confirming taking abandoned kittens in makes you rich. I've lost count of the number that have been dumped on us. I can't say the cash flow has increased.

We should ask the Canadians to go burn down the Whitehouse again. Has anyone seen any odds since the draw?
-
They should piss that group, but England being England. They will do the usual and depend on the other teams results.

From that news item.
"Raikkonen can certainly afford to take a sabbatical from F1 - he is being paid a sum believed to be in the region of 20m euros not to race for Ferrari in 2010."
I might write to Ferrari, I won't drive for them next year, can I have 20m Euro please?
-
It's been McLaren policy for a number of years, they can race each other as long as they don't take the other car out of the race. Also up to the point where one driver needs the support of his team mate to secure the championship.

I think it comes down to you being farang we have a couple of good vets near my house in a small town up north, and from what I have heard they are good, you would have to check if being a vet is not on the banned list (chances are it is), But aside's from that the way animals are treated here a lot of the time is disgusting so i would think about whether or not you can put up with that, also these vet's are generally for pigs, ox, buffalo and elephants, Dogs, cats etc seem to be classed as vermin in Isaan This is just my opinion though but I wish you the best of luck!
Bailly
Don't you mean dogs and cats are seen as food in (parts of) Isaan?

One of our friends son is a complete prat. He likes to dish it out but, but he doesn't like it when it comes back. I've tried to explain to my wife about "If you can't take it, don't dish it out." Is there a Thai equivalent of this one?

A couple of sites are reporting Silverstone is almost secured. Also Bernie gives Monaco and Monza a cheap rate, if he can give Italy a cheap deal why not his home country?

We have just bought some lime trees which we were told are European stock. Seedless and larger fruit than the Thai limes. The fruit we see are like the 3rd photo in the OPs post. To be honest it looks like the photos show fruit from different tree types. The trees apparently were introduced under some Royal family project, we bought the trees in response to the ridiculous price of limes this year. The missus threatened to stop my Tom Yam Gai.

Earlier this year I spent some time in Si Saket at my brother in laws. When I got to the northern Bus station on my way home, and I caught a taxi at the legal stand to go to Sukhumvit 7. The driver asked as we st off, "How much you pay?" I replied "Whatever is on the meter." Which he hastily turned on. I then had to listen to him ranting and raving for 30 minutes about Farangs wearing seat belts.

From Africa? They probably want to know why you haven't answered their e-mails.

Not a good way to do business, cinsidering they are in business to sell engines. McLaren aren't their only customer.

In similar cicrumstances a BAW Boeing 747-400 flew nonstop from LHR-SYD, so an A340, depending on model should be able to do what you want in those circumstances. The BKK-JFK was with an A345.

We have long been limiting the amount of cola the young kids drink when we have parties. A study earlier this year reported that it destroyed the potassium in the body, and could cause growth and deformity problems.

As for Jenson winning most of his points in the 1st half of the season, under Bernie and Max's medal proposal. Wouldn't Jenson have been crowned champ halfway through the season?

Those adopted kittens are earning their keep now. The new litter arrived this morning, sadly 2 of the 3 were still born. Hopefully the other 3 will be enough for her.

...and when they make a mistake, don't expect an apology.

Well, it's clearly due to global warming, no doubt.
Seriously, we're undergoing global cooling at the moment and unless the sun revs back up again soon things could get worse.
This is a good watch, for those who haven't seen it yet:
The Great Global Warming Swindle
I'm of the understanding that we're to receive a mini-ice age before global warming kinks in....
Actually Global warming could trigger the next Ice Age. Ice melts putting more fresh water into the sea. This in turn raises the freezing point of the oceans. Also it could stop the Atlantic Gulf stream from flowing which will make the European winters much colder.

In that case I was robbed in Ranong. 21 days late and 10,500 Baht fine.

I once sat next to someone on a BAW flight LHR-BKK. They called his name over the PA, and he just sat there. The purser came up to him, asked him if he was MR.... He confirmed he was. They asked him if he knew a certain BAW 747 captain. Again he confirmed he did. The purser told him that he had contacted the senior captain on this flight, and he was offered a seat in business, and a visit to the cockpit. He turned it down. When asked if he was sure, and he said he was ok in economy. When the purser had gone, I asked the guy if he had had a bump on the head that morning. He said, he gets sick of it. Every time he flies they come up to him.
A visit to the cockpit, and he turned it down. I'd have ripped their arms off!
