Yes thats what I asked and they said I need a wallet for that which I cannot sign up for.
I recently went through the exact same thing. Just use their online chat and they will send it to your registered bank.

Just imagine for a moment that not every person handles their finances in exactly the same way for countless different specific reasons.

I have two Thai accounts, one for the retirement money (plus a "just in case, no surprises" buffer) and the other for monthly expenses. This keeps things VERY clean. Why wouldn't you do the same?

In EVERY situation you have three choices:
1) Change it
2) Accept it
3) Move away from it
You aren't likely to change it, so 2 or 3 are your only REAL options.

Are farangs now reacting to the obvious discrimination, dual charging, immigration hassles and general discriminatory attitude towards them, from Thai policy makers...would rather be the question IMHO of course.
I have a black friend, VERY dark skinned, who learned to speak Thai. When he heard the horrible things they were saying about him, he'd try to engage them saying he understood what they were saying. Didn't slow them down one bit.

Bottom line - you can not work legally as a teacher without a Bachelors degree. Period, full stop. They are absolutely pedantic on this requirement. There are schools that will hire you illegally, and if you are caught by immigration you will be in a world of hurt. As well, you would have to arrange all your own visa workings - either a tourist visa or "retirement" visa. All illegal.

Immigration isn't interested WHERE the ฿800,000 came from as long as it's been seasoned properly.

I've only been here 15 years and have never seen any easing other than the 90 report. Has anything else changed to accommodate immigration?
