PTT station at Samut Sakhon, does this tell you something!

I would have no problem with the vaccination if not administered by the profiteering private hospitals, maybe the Thais should think of the Thais overseas being given the vaccine for free, should they be forced to be paid for it also!

Do you believe me, or your lying eyes!

Laughable. I really don't understand why they persist in coming up with such ridiculous announcements, which are very clearly a pipe dream and nothing more.
Money and budgets!

The tragedy is that huge amounts of money are being spent and a lot of it appears to have been wasted. We keep revisiting the same problems over and over.
Not wasted, redistributed!

If they are working without permits then there is obviously a demand for their services.
Why not give them permits?
Surely improving English standards would be beneficial for Thailand and its economy.
No need, Thai is going to be the International business language.

7-11s and Family Marts appear to be closing in droves in the (no) tourism areas of Pattaya.
Has anyone else noticed this or am I hallucinating (again)?
I can certainly understand any and all kinds of businesses closing in this current environment, but I'm finding this rather shocking.
You know, 7-11s and Family Marts have been like Starbucks in Seattle. Everywhere!
You stated the problem! They are everywhere, glut to many to sustain!

Yes, I do get where you are heading.
So, incompetence and laziness, causing a lack of hygiene, would be the reason.
Once again, it's 2021. Will Thailand ever be able to offer tap beer to its millions of tourists, post covid? I mean, Thailand being a "World Class Tourists Destination" an all. ????
I like bottled beer can rely on the quality!

Sounds to me like they have made it a prison compound. Way to go Thailand in treating your workers with a total disregard to health and human services, and treating them like they are trash. I can not understand the need to lock people into a location such as this without any true housing necessities, food, water, and basic everyday necessities. This government can go ------themselves in my view. They do not care to treat people with respect or dignity.
Slave labor is what it reminds me of:
"This measure means the seven factories can continue to operate as normal, but their employees must remain within the factory compound at all times, said Dr. Kiatipoom."
More like concentration camp!

If they followed the Australian model which they could have done from day one! There are exceptions for long term leavers eg deeds to home ownership Thailand or a current lease or a deptaure of more than 3 months. What most don't know is anyone spending more time in the last 12 months abroad than in their own country can simply go to the airport and leave, no documentation needed.
If the UK an island was in total shut down nothing in nothing out how would the masses be fed with most food stuffs coming from overseas?
