I don't think it's got anything to do with backpackers. It's about being a decent human being. Have the Thais forgotten about Farang businesses in Thailand donating free meals to hungry Thais during covid and the many millions of baht which were raised by farangs in Thailand to help the needy?

I have been in Thailand for 8 years and am registered to vote. In the 2019 election i received my ballot paper on the day of the election, too late to send back. When i contacted them to complain they said they are only allowed to send out the ballot papers 10 days before the election. Unless they change this rule you still can't vote.

My wife worked from age 20 till she was made redundant in 2021 aged 51 due to covid. She was on a decent salary for 20 years and then an excellent salary for the next 11 years as branch manager for a Japanese company at Laem Chabang. She will receive her Thai state pension in 2 years time, a total of 4,000 baht per month for 31 years continuous work, pathetic

More economic pain for normal, hard working American people.
Hopefully they will think very carefully before re-electing Biden.

forget about voting in a UK election if you live in Thailand. I registered for a postal vote in the last election, my ballot paper arrived at my Thai address on the actual day of the election. I phoned the relevant number in the UK to complain and they told me they can't send out ballot papers to overseas addresses till 10 days before the election. So unless an envelope can get from UK - Thailand - UK in 10 days you've got no chance

and the poms are whinging about it as per usual, it great when things go their way but not anyone elses. They have become the complete whingers, they grass a catch and call it a fair catch, the wicket keeper tries to run out a batsman when he is out of his crease then whinge when the aussies do it, they snick a ball on the way through but pretend they didnt and refuse to walk then whinge when the aussies do it. Really shows how pathetic the poms have become, they even had the wickets made to their demands as well as the shortening of boundaries to suit their BS new play but still lost, shows how incompetent they really are, the children need to grow up and realize that they need to play cricket and not bazzball, also have to realizee it is their garbage weather that is also the problem, all in all it couldnt have happened to bigger idiots, Australia won the first 2 tests with their doctored grounds, hahahahaha, only ones responsible are the poms
Never been found guilty of ball tampering though, pretty bad when Australian cricket kit includes a strip of sandpaper

Cockpit, southbound on Sukhumvit between Pattaya Central and Pattaya Tai junctions ( 12°55'27.82"N 100°53'55.48"E).
Excellent service, I went in for two fronts and they checked all five, the spare was flat so they reseated it, all at no extra charge.
My go-to tire spot.
I always use Cockpit, never been anywhere else because great service. I used for new tyres, alignment, puncture, battery, wiper blades you name it, branches all over the place

I was answering a question that was asking for things I don't like - which will surely read as a list of complaints.. - I thought Geordies were supposed to be a bit nicer and more clever than that? Next time I should just complain that the ice cream is great?
you were right about Geordies, we also have a sense of humour

Your #3 is complaining farang, you actually said that while complaining, that's funny
