That such courtesy - common to most other countries - is publicly celebrated serves to underscore its rarity in Thailand.

OK, everybody just stop. Demand for face masks is not driven primarily by reason or logic. Irrational FEAR is the driver.

Zolpidem (not "derm") is available by prescription. Have not seen zopiclone.

Wow. The mall is so "well-known" we need not even be told which one it is.
Modern media. So sensitive.

"After 3 years of Corona, can anyone supply some "conclusive" answers with regard to the above question(s)?"
Well you've come to the right place for conclusive answers!
Pretty sure nobody here is gonna provide "conclusive" answers.

What do you think, topic good for at least 20 pages of regurgitating the same old whinging and misinformation/misunderstanding that where aired initially?
What better to whinge at than a new tax from the Thai government? I don't see it going to 20 pages though.

300 baht entry fee, 700 baht exit fee on flights, thousands in gullible-tourist fees while in Thailand. Enjoy your holiday suckers!

Perhaps everyone should wear surgical gloves also ?
Let's cut to the chase: everyone should have an implanted chip that facilitates tracking & tracing and restricts where a person may travel. The chip should also have a central bank digital currency controlled by a cabal to restrict what a person buys. Just have to get the majority of people to want it. In a few countries the majority still wear masks - so there's hope.

Surgeons and nurses wear mask in the operating room, its not that difficult to understand?
But he said he could explain why hospitals wear masks. I'd like to hear that.

Another silly comment we keep hearing, not going to bring up the laughable mosquito and chicken wire fence analogy? I am not going to explain why hospitals wear masks for operations etc.... I would then also be foolish for repeating myself to a troll.
No, please do explain why hospitals wear masks.
Think it's safe to say the complexity of the issue puts it beyond the majority's capacity to comprehend. Even scientists and other so-called experts are constantly in disagreement. Sweden - and many other countries - did well without masks.

'Senior moment' ?
Granted, my initial post may look like that. ???? The main argument was that too many - fragmented - Forums reduces "views" for each topic, thus limiting discussion (and making it less likely a casual viewer will discover threads of interest). It also makes posting to the officially 'correct' Forum a pain - particularly when the 'correct' forum may have minimal views. Example: one may be interested in a thread someone posts about "Western Food in Thailand", but not interested enough in the topic to bother to routinely view that Forum.

What extra fora would you like Lee? Pets, board games, women's sport, STD's. Let us all know.
Maybe we could have a "Dangerous for Delicate Sensibilities" forum for the posts removed from elsewhere. Viewers would sign a waver and must prove mental competence and emotional stability to enter.

Could we please have some more forums. I'm still finding it possible to find things and average thread viewership is still not single digits.

A good 'heads-up' for many of us.
Based upon what you've said, as I understand it, your first move is to check all money-transfer alternatives to Wise.
