I have a Thai account and a barclays account in London.When I run low on money I transfer from London.Like I say,I have a statement from my Thai bank for the last 12 months showing all the money comes from overseas and that I did NOT just use this account for swow.It has been constantly active.

Please help.I am 35,married to a Thai citizen with a baby on the way soon.I am currently on a non imm o visa [12 months] expiring shortly and have more than 400k in a thai bank.I have no criminal record.Ranong office tells me I cannot extend my visa,so I have to go through the whole process again in Penang.Is this correct?

You can only get the extension during the last 30 days of your permission to stay. Apart from that I'd say you are in good shape.

What reason did immi. give for refusing to process the extension??

Their reasoning being that I do not have a job,but I can provide Bank statements that show all my money has come from overseas.

Assuming your documents are in order, I'd have another go seeing a different officer, could have been a bad day.

The "lady"was not interested in any doccuments,only with the fact I an not working.
