Also add:  One thing with the Schwab debit card.  You can take out $1,000/day BUT only $500 at a time.  If you try and take out more than that they will lock your card until you contact them.  I found that out by accident the first time I used mine.

 

Just want to add:  Never take the exchange rate the ATM offers.  It is the biggest fee of all.  Always select 'continue without conversion' or whatever your bank says similar to that.

In the USA, vehicles stop for you. However, vehicles are priority here in Thailand. I remember one time a guy screamed at me when he didn’t plan to stop with his motorbike. <deleted>

Hi all, I recently have AIS and DTAC for my phones. According to google, I successfully changed AIS text message in English. However, I couldn’t find any info about DTAC. how do I change the sms in English? Obviously I can’t read Thai. Thank you
