  1. As a poster above commented, your attorney is clueless because all they need to do is send her the documentation to sign through a courier service, which she then returns to the attorney by mail. This whole process should take about a month, and cost you around $2,000 including costs and fees, depending on your attorney's fees. Alternatively, I suggest you visit and speak with someone at your local courthouse, specifically a supervisor, and inquire if you could complete the whole process on your own.
  2. My bro who was visiting me in 2015 almost got into a fight across from Pratunam market with two Chinese guys who, despite our pleas not to spray us with water or powder, still threw almost a full bucket of water at him. We went through Silom, Sathorn, and some other places and weren't sprayed by anyone after pleading with them, but those particular guys just refused to listen to our entreaties.
  3. I never liked him, but I don't appreciate how they're working hard to bring him down. And I believe he's being prosecuted because he was somehow involved with the shinawatras saga.
  4. Those in Thailand at the time of the crime knew they were scapegoats.
  5. Well, that was my favorite soup but stopped eating it because it's always too salty. I guess the reviewer didn't fancy its spiciness as well.
  6. My ex's family has been trying to break up a relationship between their 17 years-old-daughter and a 12-year-old boy. His family blatantly refused to help claiming it was the girl who went after their son, so they weren't interested in the matter.
  7. Yep, simple explanation, but a foreigner's going to get locked up and deported.
  8. an acquaintance did it at a public hospital in BKK last October without an overnight hospital stay
  9. Worked at a school where one of the teachers was often retrieving sacks from the bushes close to the school during break.
  10. They wanted me to change from my default ACH to debit/credit card last month, so I used Moneygram instead. Yes, the Moneygram transfer was deposited directly into my bank account, and I don't think I lost much because the fee was very low, and the deposited amount was more than what I'd have received had I used the funding method requested by Wise.
  11. Took everything available in Thailand for more than 10 years and started ordering Excedrin. However, one day, I went to Makro on Kanchanaphisek Rd not far from Rama 2 Rd because my excedrin shipment was late and I'd had a very bad tension migraine for days, and the pharmacist on duty asked me to read about preventing migraine instead of damaging my liver from taking those drugs. She wrote a drug for migraine prevention on a piece of paper which she asked me to look for. I did a lot of reading online and found out that various supplements could help because I was unable to find the particular drug she'd recommended. After only a couple of months, the migraine became less frequent and subsequently stopped. I have been free from migraines for almost 10 years now. That Makro pharmacist was a lifesaver. She told me what none of the numerous doctors I visited in over 10 years, not even doctors in those expensive hospitals in the Silom Rd area, told me. I went back after about 3 months to thank her, but she walked away as soon as she saw me approaching.
  12. The Bangkhunthian office refused to put a condo in my 16-year-old daughter's name last year, so as much as I hate it, it was registered in her uncle's name.
