Over the last few days I have been planning/booking a trip to Dubai/Bahrain. Booked the Emirates part of it no problem, paying with my Bangkok Bank Debit Card. Tried to book Air Asia, Phitsanulok to Don Mueng. On the PC I kept getting a message that there was a problem 'at our end, nothing to do with you', for two days. Installed the Air Asia app on my phone and eventually got to the payment option, after three or four OTPs. Put in my card number, message saying cannot, contact your bank, whom I called and explained, only to be told that Air Asia DOES NOT accept Bangkok Bank debit cards. Had to do a direct bank transfer. The ticket was originally advertised at Bht 900 but Bht 40 discount for using the app. Thank you! They had then included 20kg baggage, which I need, plus Insurance which I declined, plus Bht 50 for something I don't know, plus Bht 107 for the bank transfer. Total Bht 1480, from Bht 860. Unfortunatly there is no alternative. Rant over!

And it is even sadder that people like you think that not having the necessary financials in place, 800k or 12 x 65k, think that by giving money to an 'Agent' who bribes the Immigration Officer and probably someone at a bank their Extension is legal. I pay 1000/500 Bht 749 with 3BB/AIS. Out in the jungle, but optic is direct into my router, included in the price. Very few problems, only after heavy wind storms.

If Long Stay or Buying Property is clicked, the transfer is NOT instant and arrives usually at 14.05 the next day as an International Transfer. All the other options usually arrive instantly as Local Transfers. Confirmed to me by Wise.

I made the mistake ONCE in five years of not clicking the Long Stay option. Money was instant, but classed as a local transfer. I cannot understand why yours are FTT when you click for example family & friends.

What's that got to do with it. You cannot usually get a Pension below 55. The IO doesn't care where the money comes from as long as it arrives every month, roughly the same date.
