Australia is going mad
You must be joking. OK, high class Thai food seems OK, but the 5h1t the normal people eat, deep fried in dirty old oil with loads of white rice, plus the liking for KFC etc, must make the Thai diet one of the worst.

Wise vs Revolut - This is what I've found out
Adding GBP from a UK bank is Free. I don't know about EUR or USD as I do not do it. CONVERTING those GBP into say THB incurs a small fee, and of course, sending to another country/bank also costs you. I send THB 40k every month and it costs THB 44.60 !

new 90 day...
You only do a TM47 90 days after arrival. First one after foreign travel should be done in person, but I have done online after a UK trip. Can you do a TM30 at Immigration? I thought it was the place where you stay should do it, or do it yourself, from home.

new 90 day...
Not needed if you are going back to the same address, ie your home. A new TM30, although legislation says it is required, most IOs do not enforce it. I have had the same TM 30 for 4 years, been to UK and stayed at different Thai hotels, done 90 day reports on time, but never been questioned about my TM30, they even printed a new one out for me at IO last time as it was getting tatty.

American Exceptionalism: My Bloody Sphincter!
We ain't got a real Queen anymore. Little boy in school was reprimanded for his language. Teacher: Don't you know the Queen's English? Boy: Is she?

My UK passport. Where can I get it checked
But not on the right hand page, to which the OP is referring.

UK passport checking
I just replaced a washing machine damaged UK Passport using Thai Visa Express. Passport was Bht 6000, their service was Bht 6000. Saved me two trips to Bkk and back. New one arrived exactly four weeks later, couriered to my home.

UK passport checking
No, you fill in Emergency addresses next to the inside of the back cover, which is blank, in my last two Passports.

My UK passport. Where can I get it checked
To renew a UK Passport from here via VFS, you must send them COLOUR COPIES of every page, used or not, and the covers. I suppose it is to show that there are not any stamps which an ignorant Immigration man has put on the last pages of your Passport, completely out of sync with everything else. Hey, it's only 38 sheets of A4.

American Exceptionalism: My Bloody Sphincter!
America used to be the global leader, shaping industry, space exploration, and economic prosperity. Now, it feels like it's lost its edge, replaced by political chaos, declining influence, and a struggle to keep up with fast-moving global powers like China. Trump’s leadership shifted the country toward populism, causing ripple effects worldwide. Some Americans see him as a symbol of strength, but others argue he's more of a disruptor than a stabilizer. Meanwhile, other nations have adapted, shifting their political stances in response to America's turmoil. Instead of building the future, the U.S. seems caught in cultural battles and political noise. Some believe its status as a global power is crumbling, while others think it’s just going through a messy transformation. Either way, the world is watching.

Toilet not "sucking" like it used to.
So does using the bum-gun.

Toilet not "sucking" like it used to.
As long as the water from the cistern is getting into the bowl, either short or long flush, then that part is working OK. The 'sucking' is made by the water leaving the bowl, so a blockage somewhere between bowl and septic tank could be the problem.

Toilet not "sucking" like it used to.
Who's whinging? Neither I, nor my female house sharers use tampons. Baby wipes were never flushed down. Been flushing paper for 13 years with no problems.

monitor with usb connection
It sounds like a Smart TV would do the job. I have a TCL 32 inch 4K jobby, USB, internet and Bluetooth, all for about THB 5k. With the right app you could probably download onto USB stick without your PC. Bluetooth speakers, headphones or Soundbars are reasonable.

Toilet not "sucking" like it used to.
Toilet paper is usually very porous, is organic and breaks up easily. Let's face it, some of the deposits put down the toilet are more solid, bigger and harder to flush away.

'I have never had a toilet for 15 years,' It's basically Sodium Hydroxide, dead cheap but works.

What is the easiest / quickest way to get a visa for my wife to visit the UK
Are you saying that all the paperwork is scanned and sent to India or wherever the decision is made? Does that also apply to Passport renewals?
