if we want to do the transaction in person this summer, how much non-refundable deposit is considered standard?

if we want to have her sister buy the land, she would take a bank draft to the land office to hand over when the chanote is put in girlfriend's name.  in that case, would a lawyer be necessary, or can girlfriend simply prepare a power of attorney allowing her sister to buy the property for her?  is there a standard form for that?

how much should she budget for other fees, such as deed registration or document preparation?

    1) Up to you and the seller, usually 5-10% of the total sum.

    2) They have their standard forms at the land office, just ask them they will tell you, some allow it, some might not - always ask before. Normally u bring a bar check to the land office that can only be redeemed by the seller of the land, or cash.

    3) transfer fees and stamp duty are 2.5% (transfer 2%, duty 0.5%) and usually shared between buyer and seller - but that's also negotiation.

Well done the Cambodian Government - unlike the Thai Government and one of its Generals who allowed in many potential virus infected Thais at Suvarnabhumi Airport in fear of a riot! Please bear in mind that many Khmer people DO NOT WANT their family members returning from abroad in case they infect their elderly parents - I know, I live here!

So what? Then quarantine them. But they are happy enough for them to send over money the whole time...Where are those supposed to go? They have zero money to stay in Thailand.

It's an absolute no-go to not take your own citizens back.

The right to return is a real thing and in every international convention for a reason.

hospitals are the worst place to be and to get an infection from somebody else

At Samitivej, testing facilities are outside of the hospital in parking lot, you have zero contact with other patients - it's pretty much a walk through service.

Nurse takes a nasal swap, takes 1 minute, you give them your contact info and get a call next day, done, not much risk if you don't have to use public transport to go there.

Only if u want to see a doctor you have to go inside.

That's what I keep telling my wife. 48 hours in a shared ward without air-conditioning and I'll be dead, COVID or not.

It's even free of charge, the private hospitals have to treat her/you if you are infected. So really no point in doing the tests at public hospitals except for saving a bunch of money the tests costs (and well, some of them are actually pretty good like Chula).

I do not recall having seen that stated anywhere.

Can you please provide info where it is stated?

Personal experience from someone in our condo, they just quarantined him in hospital, no way to go around hospital shopping.

  5. My experience so far:

US Android TV version -> blocked here, sideloaded at tv, didn't test with a vpn, only accessible from US

LG TV with WEBOS -> No app available at all

Sideloaded Android HBO GO ASIA app (same as on phone) -> doesn't scale on TV, doesn't support landscape mode

Android App on Phone -> Chromcast works, but it's buffering after like 15 minutes and get stuck, never continues, forwarding doesnt seem to work either

IOS App on Ipad -> Chromecast work, but buffering, stuttering the same as Android app

Browser on normal pc -> works fine, only thing that works fine for me.

Quite a disappointment, iam using it only to watch on PC right now, everything else seems unusable.

As I understand it, the team disassembled and analysed an already patented device, and through computer simulations were able to design a mass production version.

And of course the minimal risk is with the exhaust. The droplets exhaled (exhaust) go into the air.

It was you who claimed the Brits had nothing to do with this initiative, with an Australian inventor and a German manufacturer. You only changed your tune when you discovered an American report that poured scorn on CPAP for Covid 19. Now you decide this IS a British invention and product.

If you want to twist everything to fit your anti-UK agenda, that's up to you. But don't then deny it!

    You guys sound extremely desperate.

Here you have a free version, 3d printed adapter made from a decathlon snorkling mask: https://www.designboom.com/design/engineers-hack-scuba-masks-to-use-as-ventilators-03-26-2020/

Can safe you some time up there.

Decathlon, french company, nice as they are even provided the STL files for their snorkeling masks to the open source community. Good french people.

What utter drivel you write. No where is it stated that Germany transported 100 Italians to Germany for treatment. The first report a couple of day's ago was that it was just 6 patients from Italy to Germany. However, it is unclear why those six patients from Italy were chosen for treatment in Germany. Then that number supposedly rose to 41, but there's been no substantial conformation of that figure. You try to fudge the number by including France, which if you bothered to read my entire comment, you will note that I said that "their power axis buddy, France" was the only country getting additional aid. As it stands, Germany hasn't transported that many dying Italians to its hospitals, despite your exaggerated figure. Considering that Italy currently has 3,981 patients in critical or severe condtions, those chosen few must be VIPs or something, otherwise they're very fortunate to be chosen out of the remaining 3,981 critical patients.

Again, the thrust of my original comment was against FarFlung's imbecilic remark about the UK not being part of Europe diatribe.  Do I have to remind the dolt that following the approval of the Withdrawal Agreement, the UK left the EU on 31 January 2020 and entered a transition period, but continues to contribute to the EU as if it were a member. That means the UK is still paying its lion's share of contributions into the EU's coffers, much more than any other member state. What is needed from the German government and its EU project is cooperation, not opposition. The half-empty flight from Cambodia is just another example of them being unhelpful and disobliging in a time of crisis. No wonder the UK wanted to out of this elitist and Globalist club.

Because italys south had free ICU beds before. However, as always for you nutters facts don't matter. Germany also supplied ventilator, test kits and masks to italy.

Just 1 single italian in a german ICU is unlimited percent more than your government helped so far. Fact.

Here's a video from a passenger on the second German repatriation flight that flew yesterday... It was open to other nationalities but we were not informed of it's existence.

I've been told this flight could take about 350 pax but only half the seats were filled. There was reportedly nobody in premium economy.

2 flights to repatriate German tourists in Cambodia that left from Phnom Penh yesterday have been described as “half empty” – with stranded UK tourists expressing anger that they were not informed of the flights – and the chance to get back home – by the UK Embassy.

But hey at least the brits stuck their blame their own embassy.

As he said already, it's mainly for german citizens but they let you board as long as there are free seats. It's organised by germany to get germans back, but they let all EU europeans take the free seats if available. The 99EUR is just for reservation but more will be charged later, eventually.

Read yourself, from your own embassy:

What about the other europeans? We love so much this European Union with German ideological guide!!! A genuine European lager to enrich a Country led by criminal and xenophobic ideology, together with the Netherlands.

    What crack are you smoking?

Germany is flying all of them out. Austria and others are also helping. It's only dumb brits who refuse help and do nothing themselves.

I believe that most countries have a similar law.

The problem for many people at present is to get close enough to the border to actually enter!

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_of_return

It's an international law even, ratified in pretty much every international agreement like the hague convention that thailand signed too.

it's just ... laws dont mean anything here anymore.

    Including any vaccine?

We'll take the german vaccines from CureVac or bioNtech, thanks for asking.
