“The ministry is committed to protecting consumers from hazardous products,” he said. “Once this is classified as a controlled product, anyone who wants to import or manufacture these washers will have to apply for a TISI permit first, so the institute can test the product for safety and quality, and stop substandard items from reaching the market.”

What a load of nonsense....pressure washers in thailand even don't have a grounded cable, there's only 2 wires in the cable while in European countries there are 3! The thai ones are nog legal to use in Europe but the weird thing is that Karcher, Bosch and all other brands make them with 2 wires only for Thailand. These brands should not even think about lowering their standards.

Also Thailand should get electric outlets with a ground connection...Why would they think the 1st world has that?

I saw another PCX 150 today with skinny bicycle tyres looked soo... stupid, why do Thais think this way with so much information available about what to do.

Well thin tyres go faster, that's all that counts for a Thai...longer breaking distance is not important for them.

It's also why they always pump the tyres hard as a rock.

  3. You won't believe what i've seen happening in Sizzlers...

People coming for a take home salad, they litterly emptied the whole bowl of bacon in their box, asked for the bacon to be refilled so he also took that 2nd bowl...he put in some small egs with it and left with a big load of bacon for the price of a salad.

And all those (Thai) people who don't eat their salad at all but let the staff pack it to bring home for the next day....they only eat the warm food.

My thai friend in sizzlers litterly used 1.5 bottles of ketchup for himself, his kids did the same...that was before sizzlers started serving ketchup in a bowl, now they even dont serve that anymore.

His wife likes to go to a local all you can eat bbq restaurant, she waits for the bacon to be put on the buffet, runs there to grab 1 kg of bacon and keeps that on her table....but many more thai do the same i noticed. It's a 200 baht buffet bbq place.

Their kids also behave bad in restaurants so i won't go out dining with these people anymore.

There are still some unsold condos around from that time..its seems the banks just sit on them  waiting and waiting for someone to come along and clear the debt + interest  somehow avoiding writing it off as non performing loans.

In our mubahn there's a house which belongs to the bank now for many years (6 years)...they do absolutely nothing to maintain it, it's a huge jungle now..

IT's bad for the rest of the street but also the value of that house goes down fast...maybe soon it needs to be rebuilt and is only 10 years old.

I don't understand why Thai banks can do this with their property....they could at least maintain the garden of it.

  5. You never know what can happen, maybe they close the airport again when your on the beach. Maybe the restaurants start boycotting the foreign clients again, and so on......

Plus the thing that we need that silly corona insurance while a normal travelinsurance would also suffice.

Plus that we have to go in quarantin in a hotel.

    No way Thailand!
