That’s how these guys get pick pocketed, except for the aggressive “I go with you” ones who grab your arm to distract you while another one of her hand grabs for your goods!

One tried that on me I did a hop-skip and slapped the hand away. Don’t repsond to them , don’t antagonize them, just nod your head or smile faintly and keep moving. Our Brit was probably up for a bit of the “rumpty-tumpty”.

Wrong, that's how some guys get pick pocketed but not always.

I had 3 ladyboys try picking my pocket by blocking me and pretending to get fresh with me.

The only way to walk away would have been to push them away and that would have definitely started trouble (there were more LBs in the vicinity).

Fortunately in my case they were unsuccessful, as my money goes into secret pocket on my belt.

  2. Incidentally, I have tried on Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox & (last 2 with Internet Explorer emulators).

I have updated all of these browsers and tried on other computers in our office but still get the same results.

Also before anyone asks, my attempts were all within the correct window (between 7 to 14 days before the report is due).

Also I did manage to successfully report using the online facility once (in August 2016) but I have had no luck since (despite numerous attempts).

it is only two times, not three times.  Of the married couple, one of them can go piggyback on the Extension of the spouse

I was under the impression that the daughter was working at an animal shelter, as it was mentioned in the first post.

If this was the case then she should already have a visa, so with a piggyback only one to cover.

Everyone who posts anything on here had better be ready for the "foreign firing squad" from what I have seen. Way too many people on these forums just waiting to rip someone apart.

Not just on here, the internet is a double edged sword.

The daughter admits that she would follow Thai Immigration rules, so why bother taking her grievance to the internet?

If you air your dirty laundry in public then don't whinge if you get negative criticism.

  5. Has anyone in the Samutprakarn region had any luck with the 90 day online report?

I fully understand the reporting window but every time that I try to submit the report I get the message of ‘For further information regarding The 90-day Notification Report Service, please contact the Immigration Branch Office in your residence area’.

I did manage to get the report to work in August 2016 but since then I have had no luck, despite trying for every 90 day report since.

I have asked the boss (sorry don’t know her rank) of Samutprakarn Immigration about this but she informed me that as far as she knew the online reporting was working for Samutprakarn Immigration.

BTW, posting the 90 day report is not an option, as my nearest post office is about 100 meters away from the Immigration office, so I would not gain anything by using this method.
