Thin end of the wedge, stand by for the next demand.

To save money, i've been drinking Black Cock. It's not bad, and it's cheap.
If you are going to drink muck you cant beat Ya dong at about 60 baht a bottle or 10 baht a shot. Cheers extra in the red can at the reduced 6% is not bad, the blue one is rubbish. Leo is for Thais and people with absolutely no taste at all. Red horse is good but they sometimes seem to run short like with beer Lao.

I think it is boring here. Only places to go are temples and malls, and markets... Naa beua
You forgot the Thai karaokee bars. Can't beat belting out 'Mi Mia Dek' off-key, whilst Thai staff and customers cheer like crazy and the policeman owner keeps topping up your beer glass for free
Can you really sing Pornsak songs? He forgot the world class art galleries and museums, the fabulous parks, concert halls and libraries not to mention the amazing antique shops and markets full of charming old siam wares, er well maybe not.

I pay 60 baht, it's only hair

Does that mean the monks walking about with alms bowels which is effectively begging will be arrested too ? thought not.
That's not begging it's an opportunity for the public to make a merit by giving food, monks normally do not need it as they have people cooking for them even in forest temples. Monking is not begging, it's a business!

.. The fact that the school is on temple grounds is a non-issue, I see muslims wearing hijabs selling food etc. in markets on temple grounds all the time.
This is exactly why it's called an issue Anyone can wear those hijabs but students!!!
Quite right too, religion should be kept out of education, that goes for Buddhism as well.

If it's so important to them how come they have managed to survive without wearing rags on their head to School up until now? Just looks like more creeping islamisation. It is not required by their religion and is just a sign of division and a way to distance themselves from everyone else- look at us we are Muslims!

I once had a Thai gf, a teacher with a Masters degree, and she would sometimes ask me for ideas about what to say in the little morning homily she and other teachers in turn had to give to the amassed students at flag-respecting time.
My mrs has a masters degree, on coming out of the dawn of the planet of the apes film she asked me if the monkeys were real or actors. Just having a Thai degree does not mean you are either educated , or intelligent.

If the refugees just want to enjoy a social program, they will be upset in Cambodia. But a young, willing, clever, educated, courageous, speaking English person can have a good life in Cambodia.
Excellent opportunity as the local human resource is not that strong. He / she even could find a cute and kind life companion.
Are there issues with hatred / bigotry towards Muslims in Cambodia?
No but there are issues with Islam wordwide, caused by Islam

I will concur with this. Thai ladies for the most part are gorgeous
But also for the most part, shallow and disinterested in anything outside of their little world of food, family, line/fb and shopping. They are mostly very boring after a while.

Songkran victim maybe then. If it had been a Thai speeding on a bike this thread would have som nam na all over it, falang acting recklessly and it's another matter.

Reported speeding with no other vehicle involved, so his own fault it seems.

Are you sure you know what ecotravel is? I don't see how a crocodile farm, puppet show or a floating market comes into eh category. Most of the floating markets I have been to have zero eco awarness when it comes to garbage.

A straight opinion: The farang is nice looking, but nothing extraordinary and the Asian guy looks rather down-market/high on something.
The Asian definitely looks like young rough trade, would not be surprised if he had a serious illness, and a very sore arse!

The Thai boy looks quite ill

They do not transfer visa's

when different branches of the same bank follow different rules, then yes they are hopelessly backward

No offense intended at all but it sounds like the classic "I married an uneducated, poor, lower class woman from an undeveloped country who I share no mutually intelligible language with and who does not work and who is half my age, and now I'm having various problems.
What do I do?"
As against I married an educated woman with a good job who can speak several languages who is not half my age. Yet is shallow with the logic and reasoning powers of a goldfish who can hardly discuss anything without an emotional outburst. Some Thais have common characteristics regardless of background

How do many Thais deal with constructive criticism, advice and instructions?

constructive criticism means to them that you are attacking them and making them lose face.
