Hi All, I was away working for a few months and missed the opportunity to extend my 2021 extension based on retirement. I am back since Dec 16th on a 45 day extension and wish to get a 30 day so I can extend that for 1 year based on retirement. I am expecting to start a new work assignment in February so am hoping I can complete the process before I leave. How soon can I apply for the 30day extension? Last time I did the extension was in 2021 has anything changed requirements wise? Thanks

Court Accepts Cannabis Lawsuit Against Anutin, ONCB
Sakeopete replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Obviously you have never smoked pot. Stoned people don't get in pickups and drive at high speed. Drunks do that, high people are the opposite they drive too slow on their way to the nearest fast food restaurant to satisfy the munchies, then fall asleep. Marijuana also doesn't make people violent like some drunks get, they are way too chill for that, scoffing down food is their goal. -
Please link the thread.

My brother in Canada needs hip resurfacing surgery. Unfortunately there is a 24 month waiting list to have it done. Has anyone had this done in Thailand?

Pheu Thai’s Surachart claims by-election victory
Sakeopete replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Surachart Thienthong and Pheu Thai soon to be disbanded for an unpaid parking ticket from 2017. Karoonpon Tiensuwan of Move Forward Party and Atavit Suwannapakdee of Kla Party to be disbanded once PPRP come up with another trumped up charge. -
I had a 60m bore hole dug earlier this year near Pranburi. We have very hard rock it took 3 days (usually only 1 day). Cost 120k Baht. The water straight from the bore hole is good only about 300 Total Dissolved Solids. I bought a complete filter system from Lazada that includes 3 - 10" x 54" tanks with manual backwash valves plus a 20" Big Blue sediment filter and large(commercial UV Light). I installed it myself in total the filtration and UV light system cost about 20k Baht. The water from the bore hole is filtered before it enters 2 - 1000 l tanks. Our water is now about 200 Total Dissolved Solids it tastes great we drink it straight from the tap, I didn't bother with the salt tank.

Tank threads are brass, I've tried both PVC threads and Brass thread fitting.

I have been trying to stop a leak from the one inch PVC pipe with metal threads that is connected to the supply at the bottom of a plastic 1000 l tank. I have removed it several times and added thread tape but it keeps leaking. There must be a trick to stop the leak. Any ideas?

Thailand’s national police chief is worth 104 million baht
Sakeopete replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Who said crime doesn't pay? Not chief Suwat! -
I use my mobile banking to top up my Lazada wallet. I pay cheap items through that and COD expensive stuff. I like Shopee's payment system better it displays a QR code that I scan through my mobile banking app. Shopee's search function sucks so I use Lazada the most.

Sorry if this has been asked before, searching this forum yielded no results. I noticed that the size of houses and lots listed for sale seem unrealistic. For example I seen a 2 bedroom house in a village state 155 m/sq. living area 225 m/sq. land. I always though sq. footage was based on room size. The house looks small in the photos how could it be 155 m/sq.? Is patio area included ?
