Soooo many threads on AseanNow dealing with issues relating to income method.
I notice that the OP received lot of sympathy with the situation. I do t have a lot.
It's irrelevant if your allowed to change banks during the 12 months. Fact is that immigration officer found it was not satisfactory.
The OP could have asked his immigration office first.
The immigration officer suggested 60 day extension. IMO was foolish not to accept that offer on the spot..
You can make things simple or difficult in dealing with immigration.
Nonsense Immigration were making things difficult, some of these officers are b*******

They do always seem the cheapest and are highly recommended by many people but I'd advise to probably go in person based on personal experience. They were very unhelpful over Facebook with simple questions/requests.
And where is full address or contact number?

All bureaucratic money making nonsense. Fully vaccinated and no requirement for tests in country of entry, why should there be need to have to pay for expensive PCR test to fly ?

I live in a condo overlooking Jomtien 2nd Rd. between Soi Wat Boon and Theprasit intersection.
It is, day and night, a speedway with both loud motorcycles and cars treating it like a dragstrip. NEVER any enforcement.
Also: never, ever trust a pedestrian crossing, especially those with traffic lights along Second Road.
Yup. So careful one lane will stop and the outside lane a motorbike or car will go through a red light while you are crossing . Just as that poor girl killed in Bangkok recently . The police are more interested setting up stops checking licences with 5 or 6 if them writing tickets . Pathetic plod useless

I saw a Thai most likely die this morning cuz of these soi dogs. I was just starting my bicycle ride when I saw a pack of dogs lounging in the middle of a street where rabies had been identified, so I was watching closely. A motorbike was in front of me, driving up quickly to this pack. One of the beasts got spooked, jumped in front of the motorbike, then the bike went one way, driver another.
He wasn't wearing a helmet which most likely would have saved his life. Again, I'm not 100% the driver passed but the angle of his head to his body said most likely he was gone.
How many more humans have to die until real measures are taken? SM
How many? Infinitum

Um. There are dogs that have been diagnosed with rabies in Pattaya . They don't all have to be foaming at the mouth .

You couldn't make up the stuff Thai authoritarianism dreams up... Unless you've lived in country long enough and nothing surprises you after a while !

Simple action would be to round up and remove stray dogs employing a couple of dog catchers . That's what functional countries do to solve a problem and not let cultural religious belief over ride public health .

Australia records its worst ever score on anti-corruption index after decline to match Hungary’s
buttt it depends how you define corruption I suppose. As has been pointed out by developing nations many times, the west often sets the rules as to what corruption is, the terribly "corrupt" things they do are then not seen as corruption. Id consider the City of London as one of the most corrupt places on the planet. For example, they literally have people watching parliament to make sure nothing untoward takes away their ability to be "legally corrupt" and if someone attempt sot they step in. eg exemption from freedom of information laws
"Legally corrupt"? Hahah. Thailand tops that . Can't get UK on that pal.

Unbelievable.
The uk should be almost black, right down the bottom of the list.
Haha. You like to believe that. But for it's problems corruption ain't one of them. As I see starving people in a country like Thailand around those with their BMW and Mercedes .. I know which country has more problems

Maybe it is because we all look the same to them? Compared to the rest of the world Thailand is low on homicides and low on crime. Whether this is from the police force or the good nature of the Thai people your guess is as good as mine
Nonsense. Where's your data for Thai crime.?

What you have to is acquire your own weapon if you really want to be out amongst the low grade trash .. now we know what the projectile type is and can be easily got with money in the land if everything can be purchased . Especially living in a place with morethan it's fair share of folk with 'mental problems '
