  1. Hi

Gotta gotta go for my first extension today after 16 months in LOS doing visa runs and one TV in KL. Can I turn up any time of day or should it be in the morning? When I got the 2 month visa in KL I got there early, nearly passed out with 30 mins queueing with no shade then had to wait hours to get to the desk (after i missed my place in the queue because I left my new passport pics in the shop down the road....) but I know that next time if I turn up there at 11am there'll be no queue.

    Cheers

  2. Hi,

I'm after a gardener for Chiang Mai, San Sai district.

Would only be once a month or so.

We've basically got a lawn that needs feeding/mowing. Basically keeping it fertile, green, and trimmed.

We also have some plants that require some feeding/prunning, bug spraying etc.

Any help would be much appreciated. Numbers? Contacts?

    Cheers

  3. There is currently development work taking place for what the locals are referring to as Pattaya 2. Palm treed have been planted around the initial development area. On the same bank of the lake, near to the main road to chong mek, there are about 60 bamboo style eating huts on the water. Anyone know about the plans for development here? One farang said that 2 billion baht had been earmarked by the government.

  4. Hi, we have a real estate business (www.theluckyhouse.com) set up and running in Mukdahan but we're considering moving to somewhere bigger - maybe Ubon. Does anyone know whether there is already a Thai of farang office or similar? We're happy to have competition but just interested. I've scoured the web with no success in finding anything.

    Thanks

  5. I am starting a real estate business. Already running in effect. www.theluckyhouse.com

My uk company will bill my new thai partnership for company regularly so there will be minimal company assets.

I will not personally be working in Thailand. If the business goes well I might later want a work permit and realise that I need 2m baht share capital for this.

I now have to complete the partnership registration form saying how much capital i want to register. These seem to be my options:

    - register the minimum so that I pay minimum capitalisation fees

    - register the real amount I've put into the business so far (about 70,000 baht), but then could my Thai partner then lay claim to her 61% share of that money at some point?

    - register 2m capital so that I can apply for a work permit - I would have to wait until the sale of my uk apartment which is on sale now before I could pay the initial 25% (500,000 baht)

    All advise would be appreciated

    Jules
