Police Prepare For Nationwide Protests, Parliament Heavily Guarded
Arthur Mullard replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Amusingly self-assured. I think both cases you refer to were not black and white were they? Interestingly enough there was at least two charges against Thanathorn... so charge II would've VERY LIKELY done the job failing charge 1? Re Pita, it is highly likely that failing charge 1... he'd (MFP) be got on "damaging the country's stability" with his manifesto esp in relation to lesse majeste... or similar. So how can you BE a politician pray tell ???????? -

Roll out more clandestine and illegal overseas Chinese police stations in Thailand! We've seen little evidence of these in neighbouring countries to China... so much for the so-called ant-fraud push then. So spying on their neighbours from these stations (and from take-away outlets, etc) is less of a concern obviously.

I will retract my earlier comment - yes I have since read that Thailand did the decent thing. What a relief - it's far more preferable to praise than to bash that country, believe me. I suspect they are not able to become an open door to refugees fleeing Myanmar? At least state their position on the atrocities however, if that is indeed the case. -

Thank God someone has called out Thailand. What a morally perverse country. Unless anyone can explain their position on human rights in this matter further? If the woman has extended family... God help them. The stuff circulating online is not for the faint-hearted. It needs to be seen though by all. -

And wear glasses handling local notes... that Songthaew driver made off with a red thousand note at Samrong, when it should've been a hundred, silly me. Even sillier that I should've chased it up at the local depot. IDIOT
