  1. I think since their tourism industry is hiccuping, they are targeting the local unmasked foreigners for a quick rip off.
  2. I think most of the people who live here will know how (un?)healthy this country is.
  3. Of course they need to speed up before the vaccines are expired, otherwise it will all be a waste of money.
  4. I don’t think that was Thailand, since when the Thai police changed their uniform color and the word“kastam". Isn't it too early for April Fools?
  5. Culture plays a very important role in those days before technology because word and information can only spread between people, but in today’s modern world, anyone can access the resources by themselves. They can decide and choose their freedom.
  6. Now the government officials are becoming laughing stocks with their brilliant ideas.
  7. Call centers are useless and it costs people money. Those workers at the call center can sell your personal information to hackers. It is happening a lot nowadays. The best way is to just do it in the old fashioned way by submitting all your documents to the embassies in person or by mail to check. If it’s all ok then the embassies can issue a QR code.
  8. There is no reason to complain about it because the government has a right to do anything for the country’s “own good”. So if you don’t want to go through all the hassles, complicated requirements and policies: then you must choose other places go to. I believe there are plenty of other places that travelers can visit to enjoy their holidays with much less complications to deal with upon entering the country. I’m pretty sure there are restaurants, bars, girls and entertainment to enjoy anywhere else. All of these policies are just temporary because once the new government takes over, there will be newer policy requirements over and over. Basically, all the government officials wants to fill up their deep pockets as much as they can during their position, rather than thinking about how to improve the country and citizens lifestyle. For me, I’d grab a beer and watch what happens next in this sitcom show before I decides to travel to Thailand.
  9. I think in Thailand, people are already back to their normal life with C19 since the pandemic started, because I never seen Thailand really lockdown like other countries except only closing all the bars and entertainment areas. Most people are tired, having seen it and experienced it so they know what they has to be done.
  10. Wow! Smashing! You need to apply for your own holiday to be approved nowadays. I missed the good old days of traveling, where you just need a non biometric passport and funds without any complicated paperwork requirements.
  11. Lying and dishonesty never worked out well in the past history. This was bound to happen when the government's projects are given into the hands of their friends, cousins or brothers' inexperienced agency. Why don’t they ask people to submit all the documents to the embassies in person and if everything is OK then the embassies can issue a QR code which can be use at the arrival - rather than asking people to upload on a site that cannot fully operate. The scary part is, the people's information could be hacked or leaked. Hopefully that doesn't happen.
  12. When the system reach 1 million registrations.
  13. But they need to fix the ‘Thailand Pass’ website problem first. https://bangkokherald.com/business/tech/thailand-pass-is-live-and-its-a-mess-as-expected/
  14. ‘Thailand pass’ website crashed after uploading too many documents.Hope their personal information is not stolen by hackers. https://bangkokherald.com/business/tech/thailand-pass-is-live-and-its-a-mess-as-expected/
  15. If the government wants to keep up these complicated policies and want to rip off the foreigners at the entering point then I guess I can see how the Thailand tourism industry will be in the future.
