I think they will be in place until land border open, but if not, Siem Reap opens up in January so that's a cheapish option to reset tourist stamp and stay a while longer......

I think safety wings insurance is reasonable at 40 dollars / £30 per 4 weeks - covers for covid and is accepted for entry BUT doesn’t cover you if you are forced into hospital without any symptoms due to a positive covid test on arrival.

Hey hoping for some help with the following questions…. 1- does STV have to be applied for in own country or can be any consulate ? Not feeling going all the way back to the UK for it. 2- the accommodation requirement. I’m already one month in to a 12 month contract - would I have to pay this remaining contract up front or would just having the contract suffice ? Or maybe the 3 months ahead for the visa validity ?? 3- if instead once covid extensions end I did thai course for non Ed visa - would thus effect my application for STV if I did near to September 22 when they end ? Really appreciate any advice ????

Anyone else get fat in thai quarantine? Been the same healthy weight for 10 years until 2 weeks in hotel prison - I put on a stone in 2 weeks ???? Having never had to loose weight before I’ve always thought people who struggle to do so, are just not trying very hard, but turns out it’s pretty hard to do!! Moral of the story if you’re stuck in a box for two weeks stick to one meal a day and not order food panda on top of hotel slop for boredom.

Yes but With 14 day government quarantine if you’ve been in Thailand currently.

When I travelled here last month the airline checked that my booking was real and live for the return flight - so it’s best to have a real booking for when you travel not just for the visa.

Thanks for the help, I came in on 45 day visa exempt and then did the 30 day extension at MuangThong Thani - so do I also do the COVID extension there?

Hey please can someone confirm what documents you need to take to apply for 60 day covid extension - also is it the Chang watthana immigration or the same place as the tourist visa extension? I have googled and searched these forums but can’t seem to find details.
