Actually, a divorce is not simple in Thailand. One cannot simply choose to get a divorce. There are a lot of legal barriers. For example, they need to prove that the spouse did something deserving of a divorce, which cannot have occurred more than 12 months before the application is made etc etc.

So it's far easier to go online and order them to be executed.

It wouldn't need to, as it is perfectly legal for him to own or co-own the house in question. 🙂
