Because the invulnerable get Covid and die, too.
Get vaccinated.
I am vaccinated and boostered ????
The not vulnerable have a very little risk to die from Covid. 85% of all victims are 70+.
How often do I have to repeat that until even a vaxxiban does understand?

If you wanted but did not, you've wasted your life.

No the 95% evidence by real world statistics. However as for your question, you tell me?
And for how long will that 95% protection last until the next booster has to be done?
95% protection of a risk that does only exist on a minimal level for people outside the vulnerable groups really makes much sense ????

Things are getting pretty desperate for the anti vaxxers when they start arguing that 95% protection from death with a covid vaccine is not enough. I guess they've still got ivermectin to fall back on....lol
Ah, the 95% myth again. And for how long these 95% will last for people with a very small risk to die even without vaccination?

Australia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest six times since their debut in 2015 and has been in the top ten four times. The country's best result in the contest is a second-place finish for in 2016. Australia also finished in the top ten in three of its other appearances in the contest, with finishing fifth in 2015, and finishing ninth in 2017 and 2019.So there's the proof: Australia is a part of Europe. Great! ????

So, put the real, "non fake" data version here. Lets see what you got.
And oh, its not fake because you don't agree with it or like it.
I agree. And next time I'll mark such a post as "sarkasm" somehow.

For the ThaiPass you don't have to show the PCR test.

If the choice is only about asian countries I'd still prefer Thailand.

85 percent of the covid victims are 70+ of age.
For younger people without underlying conditions (as adipositas for example) the risk is minimal.
In Germany the medium death age of Covid victims is around two years above the medium life expectancy.
Very bery scaring, indeed.

Did Ext last week...12 mths statement required even with my regularly updated bank book.
Why risk it.
It must be very new then. I did my extension in december and it was like always.
The only time I needed a 12-months-statement was when I was abroad at the time I had to show the 800k three months after the application and the bank book was not updated for a period of time.

Also in Jomtien IO you need a 12 months Bank statement, plus the updated Bankbook and Bank letter verifying the bankbook balance (some Banks can print the statement locally, but BKKbank require at least a week advance notice as it is generated from head Office).
If you have a regulary updated bank book and the letter from the bank you do not need a 12 months statement.

Health insurance for OA visa holders
You're right. Plus the 2 months before/3months after rule of the 800k.
I think, the change on 800k was invented to avoid people bypassing the rules by borrowing some money before application and transfer it back one day later. Which happened in many cases.
Health insurance is a hurdle for the O/A-holder and soon to come for all others too, imo. But I think, a mandatory insurance is a good thing. Most of those who insist they want be "self insured" would not have the funds to pay for an expensive treatment.

tl:dr; this site is not a credible source and should be banned from quoting without additional credible substantiation
LoL- Right! Though the "not credible source" is supported by Yale University and the British Medical Journal, it should be "banned from quoting". As any other source that does not provide "proof" what you would like to read in your state of permanent hysteria, I guess.
"Follow the science"...harhar

It provides some perspective to your claim that the risk of death from Covid is minimal.
If there was a vaccine to prevent gullible people from getting their information from social media I would recommend it.
What perspective? I claimed, the risk is minimal for people outside the vulnerable groups. This is proven by all studies.
Did you google already for such a vaccine?

Unbelievable what these morons did to the OP!
Was it impossible to get a printed document of the hand written statement of your US doctor? ButI guess, even if you got one they would have found another reason to deny entry.
I hope you and your GF can get over it soon and you can see your mom before it's too late.

not really. I guess reserves will be enough to cover this year's winter which will soon be over, and then there is almost a year to organize energy.
sure, Europe would need to reactivate a lot of carbon-based energy plants and import a lot of fossil fuels, and the French would build NPPs (nuclear power plants) everywhere.
maritime tanker traffic to EU ports would resume and oil from OPEC will flow again without production cap.
Reorganizing the supply chaines is not a matter of a couple of months. You can't replace gas fired plants by oil. And to build the already announced NPPs in France and elsewhere takes many years.
It would cause huge impacts to the already endangered European energy system if Russia would close the pipelines.

You doubt wrong regarding Chinese visitors. Contrary to self important farang myths the Chinese spend a fortune here. This economic fact has been patiently explained before on this forum. If you want peace and quiet don't move to Pattaya and moan about it choose a quieter place instead. Roiet is beautiful, quiet and has an Expat community.
If it was a fact you surely could provide some reliable data about those Chinese, that come to Pattaya with their tour busses.
I'm not interested in an expat community. You should not project your own needs to others ????

The wealth of Pattaya is the issue not the snobbery some over sensitive western visitors.
I doubt those chinese tourbus hords provide much to the wealth of Pattaya. And as being not a visitor but living here, I prefer not to to be blackfaced after a motorbike ride from Naklua to Central Pattaya and being able to sit outside in a restaurant without inhaling the poison of 50 tour busses while dining. But I might be over sensitive ????

In case of AZ it did not last that long after shot 2. 120 days later the protection against infection was ZERO.
True, we don't know. As we did not know the 95% (even reported in the early stages of the vaccination campaign) would decline more or less fast, according to the brand one took.
