Yes its frustrating but in truth it does take 10-14 business days to get a refund and i tell you why.
Store can not do refund through credit card machine, they actually have to fill out a form and give it to the bank to process.
Once bank receives it, it does not mean they do it right there on the spot, but do it whenever it suits them, this is why it takes 10-14 days.
Why can't they do a refund through a card machine?

from your avatar you seem to believe on some other incredible things, so why not believe in this fairly common practice?

Just relax...you will likely get your money back just as they said...
I doubt it. I told them to tell the manager to get on a motorbike, and bring me 800 baht. They can keep the 1 baht for gas money.
McDonalds does it for those of you who think that it might be a ridiculous demand.

I ordered from KFC last Friday. We waited for the order to arrive and then when 45 minutes had gone by I called the call center for KFC and was told it would be delivered Saturday morning. I should have ordered from the phone number but instead did it online and paid with my Kasikorn Web Card.
I told them to return my money.
So far, now a week later it isn't in my account. They keep telling me that they canceled the credit card transaction. No matter who I call, I keep getting the same type of idiot who tells me it takes 10 days to return my money. I dont believe them. It took seconds for them to take my money. Why isn't it returned?
That night I ordered fried chicken from McDonalds. Not as good, but it arrived.

Your god has balls? That's what defines the male gender isn't it?
Balls, blocks, bricks, wood, and everything in between. In quantity.

God told me I have to believe in him. It's in the Bible.

If you always left alone, how do you know about picking up disease or bed bugs there?
I don't need to crash my car into a bridge abutment to know that it is something I don't want to do.

What's your point BTW?
Reread my one sentence response. It hasn't changed since I posted it.

Why do so many of you care about Soi 6? I used to once in while walk down Soi 6 to see if any of them met my expectations. I always left alone. It's a great place to pick up a disease or bed bugs.
Bed Bugs would be preferable.

Au contraire... my regular watering hole has no slappers and has been that way since its inception over 18 years ago. But there's enough of them around the corner if one feels the urge.
In your rush to post your emoticon, did anyone here claim that there aren't any?
Are you familiar with the phrase "Don't sh!t where you eat"?
I'm quite sure some top police brass Colonel Corporal Major Captain General Private Staff Sergeant ______________________ you fill in the blank declared not long ago, that there is no prostitution in Pattaya.

CASE TWO: HE’S ON THE RUN
Case two shot someone in the UK and fled to Thailand. The British police contacted their counterparts in Thailand who picked him up. He’d slipped in the country at some remote border but he’d now overstayed as well. Seems like a fair cop?
How is this possible? You don't have guns over there. How could he possibly get one?

And there you have it. Pattaya smells like the rotten fish it is. When your entire town adopts the biggest whore street (Soi 6) as its visual mascot, that explains a lot about the town, doesn't i?

You can expect everything no logic in Thailand
But good luck to you and your son
I just get kicked out of Thailand
Even the Thais aren't stupid enough to kick out a father responsible for taking care of his boy. His mother can't provide for him.
If they even went there, I would use the Thai media. They love stories like that.
Throw oatmeal on his face, let it dry, teach him how to look really sad, and let him wear clothes I would normally wash. Voila! Instant Thai viral sensation.

The 800 sure sounds less hassle.
Good luck with all of it.
800k in the bank makes no money. 800k in gold is making me a nice profit.

If I sell my gold, I have no problem putting 800k in the bank. I may not wish to sell my gold in time for my extension next year. I do have at least 400k now in the Thai bank.
As I read the Thai law that was posted here, there is no seasoning requirement for the 400k if I apply for the extension based on taking care of my Thai son. I am his father, I am on his birth certificate, and I am legally married but separated from my Thai wife, who is his mother.
So what is the real situation with doing this at Chaeng Wattana? I've heard the stories here where they deviate from their own law.
What can I expect?
I can provide:
- Son's birth certificate.
- Son's Thai ID
- Son's Thai Passport
- Son's enrollment in school.
- Thai Marriage Certificate.
- My Passport
- My original OA visa now expired.
- My current extension based on retirement.
- Bank book with 400k
- Letter from bank verifying 400k
- My current lease.
- TM30 from my Landlord providing I don't go anywhere between now and then.
Am I missing anything? Hell, on a whim, I can even present my son.

I have been putting well over 40K into a Thai bank account I opened in February after finding out the usual income verification letter from the British embassy was no longer an option. My problem is that I am self employed and immigration simply cannot get their head around it. I am unable to verify where the money comes from. They keep insisting on a letter from a company verifying my income, then for it to be verified by the British Embassy and then translated into Thai. Even if I had 400K to put in the bank - I would still have the same problem - no way of verifying where the income came from.
So provide them with a letter from your company president, you. Simple. Make up some nice letterhead. Sign it with a alias if you want. Give them a phone number and have a relative answer the phone. How would they know? They love paper. The more paper the more they like it. Give it to them.

Occupier is poor wording for it. Possessor has the same meaning and the two are one in the same.
You can register as a possessor.
I think you could also register as the house master. I rent my condo, but for the term of our agreement, this is my condo. I choose who can walk through the front door. The holder of the Chinote cannot just walk in without making prior arrangements with me and only for emergency reasons.
I am the master.

Handsome man eh? His company designed this mess.
Maybe if everyone contacted CDG to let them know what a wonderful app they created, you might see some movement.
