Try eBay Thailand (eBay.co.th) - they are a lot more rigorous than Lazada in managing its online shops.

They dont have the same amount of cheap Chinese stuff - but they do well enough.

Amazon a bit better too - but they dont have a Thailand 'branch' (last I checked).

Shoppee is the only real alternative to ebay in Thailand. Amazon is for the US and Europe, and buying from an unknown seller on ebay is risky - As I've learn't to my cost, TWICE!

Lazada warns you not to do business off the platform. If you purchase off the platform you are wide open to issues.

Indeed they do, but it doesn't stop people following up their offers. A fool and his money, as the saying goes.

There was a Samsung vendor a couple months ago that was bogus. Half retail prices and contact via Line.

Ripped me off for 6000 baht. Russian and Thai accomplice . Complained to Lazada who wanted the details but nothing came of it. My own fault really as I shouldn't have fell for the contact on "Line"

I hope they rot in hell.

Exactly what I'm talking about! Instead of the issue being nailed, there are now countless stores doing precisely the same thing.

Perhaps they are just new sellers?  New businesses start up all the time.

Some of them are months old, without a single sale. As I said, the ludicrously low prices are the giveaway, and anyone enquiring is asked to purchase from a LINE or email link.

  5. Just a 'heads up' to be aware of fake stores selling on Lazada. In particular, smartphones, cameras and TV's are common products to be found listed. The giveaway is that they (the stores) have zero sales, ludicrously low prices, and ask potential customers to contact them via LINE or email to purchase. Here is just on example: https://www.lazada.co.th/shop/shippits111/?spm=a2o4m.pdp.seller.1.2f2a1ff9qb6b3n&itemId=709524204&channelSource=pdp

  6. My wife has the same question. Tomorrow she flies (Phuket) to Zurich via Suvarnabhumi. Her ticket says depart terminal 'D'. Does she check in at the International or the domestic?

I am sure that 500 baht will smooth the way .... mmmm

Copy passport, copy house paper and landlord ID, and hope that you are registered by landlord at that address.

I'll raise my voice and inform them it's free. It worked last time. I haven't payed bribes for any official document, in twenty years. And I don't intend starting now!

a bummer, but photos inside and outside of the house have been a requirement at least for 4 years now. I have an accurate representation of our aging family vs. forever young house )

This is my 11th extension of my current Visa and 'yes' they've wanted a family photo inside the house - but last year they said it had changed and they now want one outside, showing the house number. Now they seem to have changed their minds AGAIN!

Believe this is often asked for - including together sitting on bed and views of clothing hung together (all to help prove to higher levels that you actually live together as husband and wife).

That's what we gave them last year - and the officer asked for a photo of us standing outside the house, showing the house number - he didn't want a photo inside.

  10. We've been to the immigration office in Phuket town this morning, with all the correct paperwork to extend my Non 'O' Visa based on marriage.

The officer refused to accept the application because he want's a family photo of us INSIDE THE HOUSE, showing furniture. I had given him photos of us standing outside the house - showing the house number - as we did last year. That's no-longer good enough. Be warned!
