  1. I know with air Asia it costs more for a 20kg bag sometimes than for an actual flight ticket, I suppose if luggage pricing was more reasonable people wouldn't try to sneak so much stuff on board. There's also people that seem to buy up everything thats for sale in duty free which also adds to the onboard luggage
  2. its going to depend how they apply this, Thai Elite Visa is a tourist visa that kets you stay for a year at a time, so you are a tourist but you could also be here over 180 days .....
  3. use an ATM card from your home country rather than transferring funds in that should negate any need to pay tax
  4. that's probably where this will end up - a combined weight allowance per person including baggage
  5. you cannot sell shares in a company that doesn't trade anymore
  6. how do Lazada get away with shipments from China with no duty or vat?
  7. you cannot sell shares in a de-listed company
  8. it does vary by bank for example, HSBS will let you use a overseas address, Lloyds won't but they will let you use an overseas number.
  9. they won't build one, they will just allocate a budget which will get lost along the way ....
  10. that's coming in the new visas at the higher prices,
  11. they are being pursued for "crimes" (in the eyes of the Chinese Government) committed pre 2020, so they are in fact back dating the law and pursuing whoever they wish for political means - china is becoming an ever more dangerous place
  12. Because they would have to work twice as hard to make the same money given that Bolt is so much cheaper, they don’t really want to work too hard ….
  13. not without the cancelled broadcast contract ...
  14. I used white enamel paint on the brackets and that makes them look much better
  15. bit tricky to sell shares in an inactive company though .....
  16. they have to have the balls to crack down on the locals not following the laws, tourists look at local driving without helmets (often straight passed the police), driving the wrong way on roads etc and just assume it must be ok. Looking around most locals have stopped abiding by the laws, the police don't enforce the rules on locals, and tourists will start doing the same.
  17. It works very well I have the same card issues in Hong Kong, works even better as a debit card to use in shops as they give you 0.4% cash back and no fees verses a 220 baht charge in a Thai ATM
  18. most seem to be staying for 12 months based on the rentals they are taking out, the question is on what visas?
